It’s official! Village Riding has not one but two new horses!!!
Welcome Joy! Joy is a larger palomino mare. She will be for my more experienced riders until we know her better.
Welcome Blue! Blue is a 13.3 grey pony who is a great driving horse, and is learning how to be ridden. He will live at my house well we get to know him and get him a little better at riding.

Hi There and Good Morning!
I would like to reach out to the group and encourage more riders to participate in the North Run schooling shows that run monthly.
Jacki Danielson, owner of North Run Farm in Delano has been managing her schooling shows for 30? years. Unfortunately, low attendance is making it very difficult to continue. And yet she does.
Jacki offers two shows a month. One week is dressage and another week is Hunter. They are well organized and very user-friendly.
It is wonderful to have another option of show to go to that is not rated in any way. Very beginner friendly.
She does require a pre-registration on the Wednesday before the show so that she knows how many people are attending.

Another very very fun and successful day at the North Run Schooling show.
Village Riding had 6 horses at the show and 7 riders. Teddy and Sunshine were super stars showing both in the morning and afternoon classes. I bet they will sleep well tonight. Patch was perfect! Blue Eyes made his debut and was better than any of us expected😂. Swet Mama and Jack (Wish Upon a Star) were rock stars. Jacks first show and he was great! And Sweet Mama jumping higher than she ever has! Her picture will be our new profile picture I think.
Thank you to all of my riders and their parents. I love you all!!

I’ve been waiting since the end of March! Sweet Mama was sooooo good under saddle today! I’m so proud of her. Huge thanks to Laura for her superior riding!

Tango decided to do some fancy free jumping today. He was supposed to jump the little white jump next to the wall. Ha Ha!

27 years old! But sooo icy outside. Every now and then a fellow has to cut loose. He even tried to buck/ crowhop but it’s hard to do when deep down inside you’re a saint.
