Update on Toby (injured paws). He is currently fostering with Ms. Karin. He's eating well and looking good with the exception of his front paws. They are currently wrapped in gauze soaked in iodine to soak some of the necrotic tissue off. He's lost a couple toe beans on one side and the pad of that foot has been peeled back. The other foot is going to be more of a club for by the time it heals. We'll post more pictures as he heals. Thank you all for helping with him!!

This baby was on found off of 190, when one of our most dedicated volunteers stopped and rescued this baby. Both front paws are in horrible shape and smell of infection. We first thought of a burn, but now think it was defending itself in an attack. It can't lose both front paws, so asking for prayers and good wishes. Donations are secondary, but if one can provide, it is appreciated. He is the sweetest kitty and did not deserve starting life this way.

Hey guys! This is "Lexi". She's been with us at SAINTS SPCA since 5/29/24. One of our volunteers got her from a lady at PetSmart. The lady was carrying her around in a backpack looking for someone to take her. Our volunteer was told she was found around University Crossing in Hammond. We really believe she is someone's baby. She's very healthy and has been fixed. Please share this post so we can find her owner or at the very least, a great home. She's a sweet baby and loves her pets, but she's still scared and likes to stay in her cubby. Please call or message one of us if you think she's yours. You will have to prove ownership if so.

Don’t mind the disruption someone was jealous. 🤣 I wanted to share this video of our intelligent and gorgeous Tara. She is in need of a home, but sadly she did not get the socialization she needed as a kitten. This happens with rescues and makes it much harder to find a forever home, but we never give up. Tara loves attention, but you have to catch her off guard to give it. Usually when she is sleeping and super relaxed she is most open to affection, but with the right person and a place of her own, she may open up a lot more. SAINTS SPCA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that specializes in cat rescue. We are an all volunteer organization and completely funded by donations. Our mission is to reduce the unwanted animals that have been abandoned, turned into shelters, or are feral and to provide a better quality of life. Part of that mission is to prevent and reduce the number of animals being euthanized. We work at a local, state, and national level for all animals in need. Our rescue mission includes:

Fostering cats and kittens

Maintaining a Trap, Neuter and Return program
