The 2023 California Association of Taxidermists show has come and gone. I feel so blessed to have won the awards I received:

National Wild Turkey Federation
California waterfowl
Most Improved belt buckle
State Champion Bird professional Division
Best Upland Game Bird
Best Bird in Flight
Highest Scoring Entry Professional Division
Closest To Photo - pintail

I entered 5 pieces in the professional division, blacktail shoulder mount, turkey, pintail, mallard and wigeon. I receive three first places and best of categories on the turkey and flying wigeon. I also entered a commercial mallard that received a first place.

Over the last year I invested in a lot of training to better myself. I would like to give a special thank you to; Tom Wearherson, John Beard Shane Smith Jeffery L. Nelson for taking me under their wings and showing me the possibilities. Without these guys I wouldn’t be where I’m at today.
