Tonight was a night one dreads.. tonight we said good night to a beautiful horse. Who was in many many people’s lives china was the best horse ever.. she taught me and many others so many things.. she was here almost since I opened in 2005. Run free my sweet China.. even though I didn’t own here Michelle Oeffinger did she was a part of all of us here at M & & S. God speed beautiful China.. she was 36( or so)…

This is why I do what I do. Sydney is a great kid(actually adult lol) and her horse echo adores her never goes far from her.. this is peace to me. I only hope my boarders feel the same way here..Sydney I love watching you grow and become an adult and horse lover. I am blessed..

Charlie on may 23rd got injured in my fence, he managed to kick through the tighteners..and after 20-25 stitches(thanks to Jess with Kopecs’s) she did amazing work on his mess .. then weeks of silver honey/ scratches meds from kopec) and silver sock! And now equiade and some silver/honey spray it’s starting to close beautifully! 5 weeks in so far(out at nights for 3 weeks ish now) Charlie has been a charm to deal with. ALEA smith is going to try to tape him to hopefully help his swelling dissipate..photos to follow..
thanks to all my feeders for helping him with the healing process!!

note to everyone who owns horses, considering taping up the tighteners you just never know!

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable part-time stable hand to join our exceptional team.

This person would have equine experience, reliable transportation and the consistency to care for horses through all weather conditions including snow and ice, thunderstorms, extreme heat, etc. Our goal is to bring someone onto the team who will exude the unparalleled level of trusted care and passion for horses that our clients have come to expect.

Responsibilities would include stall cleaning (30%) as well as stable and pasture feeding (70%). This would require the lifting and distributing of hay and proper supplement administration. Hours would be Wednesday through Sunday approximately 10-18 hours/week depending upon the week.(possibly even mon and tue am when needed )
Compensation is based on experience.

Up for consideration War Light aka jack is a 7 year old 16 hand thoroughbred off the track for 3 years. Jack has been with us for over a year now and was supposed to be a lesson horse. he will work out better as a one person horse. He is perfect to ride and my 1st choice for trail because he's bombproof. He's good in cross ties. He gets along with mares and geldings. His walk and trot are big, relaxed and stretchy. We are working on his balance at the canter and we’ve popped him over some small jumps. He has all his shots and he's even had some massages and wears front shoes. needs front shoes at the moment.
