It's photoshoot day for a few of our clutches! This is one from our first clutch, he's gained a little over 120 grams in his two and a half months of life🐍

This beautiful Mojave Hypo Spider is looking a little uncomfy with her inverted lay, but it’s a good sign for eggs🤩
She was paired with our Pastel Hypo Zebra and we can’t wait to see the results! He’s already proven out for us this year with other clutches, so follow us and stay tuned to see his other hatchlings🥚🐍

Of the egg that is. 7 healthy hatchlings, definitely see the Spiders and Pastels in there😍
They should shed out in the next week or so and we’ll see what all morphs we hit!! Gonna have some het Hypos and het Zebras🤩

Got our first pip of our second clutch!
If you didn’t know, ball pythons have an egg tooth and that’s how they pierce the egg and begin their entrance into the world🐍

A lot can happen in two hours😁
Caught this girl mid lay yesterday and checked her again before I left and she’d had at least 4 more😯
I’ll be headed there later today to pull, candle, and put them in the incubator, but they all look nice and pretty😍

We cut eggs this morning and have 4 beautiful babies nestled inside them!🤩
When they come out and have their first shed, we’ll ID their morphs! Fun fact: the egg pictured is a b**b egg🥚

It will take roughly 50-60 day for these to hatch😁 she laid 7 and we have another clutch already in the incubator set to hatch sometime next month🥚🤍

Our little leachie hatchling is 3 weeks old and thriving🤗
At one year, this little one will be nearly adult size😳 we love watching them grow💚🦎

Our girl is THICK carrying those eggs🥚
She’s a Pastel Cinnamon bred to a Pastel Blade Hypo Clown. Both beautiful balls🐍😍
There’s 16 possible outcomes to this pairing, so we’re excited to see what morphs show up!!

She’s a queen, she made her own crown👑

She’s a Pastel Yellow Belly Gravel and only a couple hundred grams from breeding! Fingers crossed for next year🤞🏼

We’ve got a hatchling!🥚
Rhacodactylus leachianus, commonly known as leachies, are the largest species of geckos reaching up to 14 inches!📏
They can live over 20 years with some reaching up to 50😯
Their nickname is “devil among the trees” by the locals in New Caledonia due to their barks. It can definitely be intimidating!

We got follicles!!🤩
Once our girls hit 1200 grams, we ultrasound about once or twice a month. This Pastel Clown girl weighs a whopping 3169 grams😳 she’s thick😉
Now we start looking for a male to pair with her🫶

Another day, another lock! Or three!😉
We've had 5 locks this weekend, but a few are repeat pairings to make sure our females are successfully bred. We aim to have a male lock with one female 2-3 times each season. And it's possible for one male can breed multiple females!😏
