🐾 New Dog Walking Policies! 🐾

Hey everyone! We’re excited to share our updated dog walking policies designed to keep things smooth and flexible for both you and your furry friends:

1️⃣ Same-Day Cancellations: If you need to cancel on the same day as your scheduled walk, please note that the full rate will apply. We appreciate your understanding!

2️⃣ 48-Hour Notice: To help us schedule effectively, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations. Don’t worry—if you give us this notice, there won’t be any charges!

3️⃣ Frequent Cancellations: We understand that life happens! However, if cancellations become frequent (more than 3 times in a month), a 50% cancellation fee may apply to future cancellations to help us manage our schedule.

4️⃣ Inclement Weather/Emergencies: Safety first! In the event of severe weather or emergencies, you can cancel or reschedule without any penalty. Your pet’s well-being is our top priority.

One of the perks of being a weekly dog walking client of ours is when we celebrate birthdays!!!🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳

For Lincolns birthday, we got him a game and treats too.

I thought a game was a good idea for him because we can't take him for too far of a walk due to his epilepsy.

When he's happy, I'm happy 😊😊😊

Scheduling updates! 😁

We are booking out about 3-6 months for pet sitting. If you have any dates in mind, please check with us ASAP to see if we have availability.

Starting August 1st: To reserve pet sitting dates on our schedule we require 50% of the total payment due at time of scheduling, the remainder is due at time of service. 😊

Our weekly dog walking schedule (Mon thru Fri: 10am - 3pm) is almost full- if you are interested in getting on our schedule for this year, inquire today to see how we can help.

Got to see my babies Henry and Lucy again!!! My heart is full.

I was so sad when Henry and Lucy moved to a new city a couple of months ago. 😭😭😭

I've been seeing them weekly for their walks for a couple of years. It was good to see them again at their new house, nicely settled in and happy. I missed them!

Loss is one of the hardest parts of having the funnest job in the world.

When clients move away, or leave this earth it humbles you into remembering not to take a day for granted.

July 4th - the day of the year where the most dogs go missing.

Be prepared to keep them indoors during the fireworks.

You can close your windows, turn the air on, play tv or music, keep them busy with bones, treats, chew toys, stay home with them if needed.

Dog Ice Cream 🍦🐾

Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (unsweetened and xylitol-free)
- 1/4 cup water

Instructions:
1. In a blender or food processor, combine the bananas, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and water.
2. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
3. Pour the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds.
4. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.
5. Pop out the ice cream cubes and serve as a delicious treat for your dog.

Notes:
- Make sure the peanut butter is free of xylitol, as it is toxic to dogs.
- You can substitute Greek yogurt with a dairy-free yogurt.

**Prep Time:** 10 mins
**Freezing Time:** 2 hrs
**Servings:** 12-15 treats

Here's how we recommend keeping animals safe in the heat. ☀️🥵😎

On extremely hot days it's best to keep our dogs and cats inside to keep them safe from the heat.

Offer cooling pads to lay on inside, turn fans and AC on, keep blinds and shades shut, offer fresh water all day long.

Short walks in the shade, or grassy areas are okay.

Avoid long distance walks, and time out in the sun during the hottest time of the day which is usually around 12-4pm-ish.
Go for shorter walks in the early morning and late night to avoid the sun.

Avoid walking dogs on pavement, black top, and concrete because it heats up pretty fast and can burn their paws. Walk in the grass instead.

If your unsure if your dog can handle the heat, keep them inside and play inside. Older dogs and long hair dogs have the toughest time in the heat. Also dogs with health issues.

Keep potty breaks short and supervised. Don't forget and leave your dog in the sun or on hot concrete!

Avoid car rides in the heat. The car gets hot, hanging out the car for air can be dangerous, and AC can fail in cars, so just be mindful.

If you think your animal is suffering from the heat call the ER VET to be sure.
