A friend of mine posted this on her rescue page this week!!! AMEN!!!! So every week someone is moving and can't take their pet(s) for some stupid reason or another. They are selling their house and no where for the pet to go. One of the dogs isn't getting along with the other "all of a sudden". They have gotten a new puppy and the older dog doesn't like it.....well DUH....work with your dog!!! "getting rid of my dog". (That statement makes my blood boil!!🌡️) Owners won’t contact a trainer to help correct behaviors. This one wins the all time prize though.....My dog has "all of a sudden" become aggressive and has bitten someone or multiple people......can you take him into your rescue, to be around your family but he will most likely bite them too and keep him for the rest of his life because I know he can't be adopted out safely!! "they expect a rescue to take on their problem and then get angry with us when we can't." 😡Please understand that rescues are mostly run out of our own pockets and are all volunteer....we are taking on as many as we can help with little to no outside help!

WE ARE RESCUE! Be a responsible, loving pet owner and figure it out, you are the one who made a commitment to care for this living breathing animal for it's entire life......we know that sometimes things happen and are happy to help in those situations but Quit expecting rescues to shoulder your responsibilities! We are faced with dogs every DAY that are on high kill shelters EUTHANASIA lists and yet there are people who want me to take their dog and me to train it while dogs are being putt down in ASTRONOMICAL numbers, in my 35+ years in rescue I've never ever seen things this bad.....people are dumping dogs in the streets and all over the forests ☹️ It's so bad out there that public shelters are turning people away!!!
The bottom line is this---If you aren't making a lifelong commitment to a pet as you would to your own child then DON'T HAVE ONE!!!

Hello everyone!
I want to share how I started this! For 2 years I’ve lived where there are tons of stray cats and some of them clearly dumped and have no idea why they were dumped or left behind! Some Ive been able to take in and care for some I’ve just gotten spayed and release back out.. but what I make as a single mother taking care of my mother altho temporary . it limits what all I can do! I hear of people having litters and giving them away for free, then their pregnant AGAIN doing the same thing.. I personally knew someone doing that and when I got wind of it I said I’ll take the puppies and call my vet and set an appt to get her payed! He made an appt the same day I had a stray scheduled for a spay and shots(who was also pregnant!) and I joked with my vet “yea I’m practically a rescue” he asked “well what’s stoping you your doing good stuff here?!” That made me think… we’ll s**t that is a great idea… so it begin lol (this was only 3 weeks ago!)

I do want to be clear the guy that I spayed his dog for him… treats this dog wonderfully, loves his dog unconditionally and would probably die for this dog… honestly probably would die if he didn’t have this dog.. he just doesn’t have the means to take the dog to the vet and doesn’t spoil her like a lot of people do! (Which there is nothing wrong with that) I want to help those like this that love their dogs maybe they have a male and female and they love them both how could you chose which of your children to give up..? If a $150-$180 spay or neuter is the only thing stoping why not help! So I want to be able to help.. not only the owner but the dog!! Cause the owner isn’t giving them up either way.. so help out the dog and the future of the overpopulation of the dogs!

Now these 6 puppies i have from him (5boys 1girl) need to go to good home but because it’s important to me to stop the overpopulation of dogs and cats I’m getting them spayed before finding homes.. and these are the costs below (I have already given them puppy shots) I’ve gotten 3 people to help I NEED another 60 to donate $25 in 3 weeks to make this happen! If you can’t donate please share! In a conversation I had recently someone said there is already a shortage of adopters in shelters… and I just want to say… there is no shortage!!!! There are just much more dogs given away with lower standards… do you know how many inquiries I get but as soon as I send them my application they disappear?! There are plenty of people who want dogs… they just want them with no responsibility attached! And the second they see they have to take absolutely full responsibility they bail… and THAT is the problem! You raise the bar on how people get dogs or cats.. you lower the chances of them being abandoned and abused! Just saying.. let’s be part of a solution and not use excuses to be part of the problem

I have never bottle feed a kitty well anythjng before aside from my child lol a learning experience to say for sure! But this kitty is fiesty! WANTS to live and play and we have one older kitty that snuggles it super cute! I’m so happy I found this little baby!

10/4 found another kitty were sure is from the same litter.. we’ve named this guy Whiskers aka whiskey and the other one Ginny aka Gin lol..

Edit: he/she is between 8/10 days old!

This little guy we rescued today! Found in my handy man’s yard and we think they are maybe 2/3 weeks old.. this is the only one we rescued but he has found 2 about the same size dead n his yard.. we finally got the hang of nursing with the bottle luckly we have a “nurse maid” cat that lets this baby nurse a little bit she doesn’t for very long! Hopefully I can do everything to save this guy… or girl idk what it is yet lol. All of the other kitties here approve!

I own 5 dogs myself and I just can’t stand seeing people having litters and giving them away for free just for them to turn around and do it again in 6 months so I took in my first litter and decided I’m starting a rescue specifically to help spay and neuter dogs and cats. I also live where people dump cats and then they multiply out here so scooping up strays outside of city limits getting them spayed is on my radar as well! I hate seeing all these animals in shelters and some of them feral cats/dogs end up being returned or abandoned!! So let be part of the solution by spaying and neutering our animals before their dying in shelters or the streets of disease.

Started Oct 23rd (we have some time) these puppies will be looking for their forever home! They’ll be 13 weeks, have some training under their belt, all shots done, dew claws removed, and microchipped (I’ll register as 2nd and leave the forever home owner as 1st). They are Dutch shepherd and blue heeler so we are talked ALOT of energy!! We are in hays Kansas but they won’t stop us from transport if you I’m another stare!
