Don’t let his size fool you this horse is as tough as it gets. He stands at around 14 hands tall but we’ve been hunting on him all fall and he can go all day. He knows how to get around in the steep country, deadfall and crosses water/bogs no problem. He is the in your pocket type horse and is very quiet to be around for his age. He isn’t phased by much, he’s been shot around, ponied other horses, can swing a rope on him, will drag a log, is good with tarps etc. He rides around off leg cues, rides on a loose rein and picks up both leads. This horse doesn’t have any bad habits he just needs someone to take him and finish him out. Call or text Liam 435-671-5892

Description:
You are going to have a hard time finding a 4 year old as quiet and as solid as this horse. He is the go to horse whenever we need to get any kind of chore done. Anyone can ride him. He has been used as a lesson horse all summer by beginners and kids as young as 9 years old. He’s been rode in some rough country and handles it like a pro. Crosses bridges, water, deadfall and gets around in the steep terrain. He rides well off of leg cues, and you can pretty much do whatever you need to do on him bridle less . Not much phases him, he’s been shot off of, had deer jump right out from underneath him, is good with tarps, ropes, bags and just about any scary or loud object you throw at him. He’ll lay down on cue, picks up both leads, side passes, opens gates, ground ties, etc. He has also been lightly started on the heelomatic. Come check him out before the sale. We enjoyed having this group of UVU Community Education students tonight. I forgot to take pictures during our youth class but they were a fun group!

One of my favorite things is to provide the opportunity for those who have never been on a horse, to experience it for the first time.

Our winter lesson season started today. But we wanted to document the fun we had this summer.

The main highlight this summer was absolutely the babies! The students loved being on baby watch, helping us names the horses and visiting them whenever we could.

Other highlights were roping lessons, getting to know Hot Pocket, and washing the horses off on those hot days. It was fun for us to give some students their first drink from a garden hose! And the last picture shows some of our favorite boys enjoying watching us unload some hay with the tractor.

We had so much fun this summer. THANK YOU for trusting us with these fun kids! We love what we do.

Tonight our students had the opportunity to introduce the horses to their families. We are so thankful for our supportive families. Tonight was also my first time attempting to dress the horses up, this is what I learned:
1. Hot Pocket was NOT impressed with his unicorn costume and refused to wear it!
2. Painting a skeleton in a horse should not attempted by someone on my artistic level!
3. Bo is a good sport but his antlers need some boosting. -Sonya
