Please spread the word for this lost dog. Colson was LOST on July 4, 2024 in Newburgh, IN 47630 near Willow Pond Road, Newburgh, Indiana

Message from Owner: 70 # Goldendoodle missing after being scared by Fireworks from William’s Landing subdivision in Newburgh around 9:00pm. Was last seen around 9:45pm running on Willow Pond Road wearing a turquoise harness and collar. Collar has a tag on it and he is microchipped. Colson is a part of our family and unbelievably loved.

Description: Apricot Goldendoodle with darker ears. Wearing a turquoise collar and harness. Microchipped.

I'm beyond devastated to learn of this sweet, caring, passionate, amazing, God-loving woman that has helped SO many people from family, friends to complete strangers 🥹
I was just messaging her a few days before.... OMG..... I'm just so heartbroken 💔
I met her 2 years ago because she reached out to me when I posted about Addy's dog, Miss Fiona, being lost.... She didn't know me but that didn't stop her from calling in the troops and pulling strings and asking favors all to help us find Fiona♥️
She has people from all over searching and even hooked them up with a warm spot to rest and food for everyone at the Rockhouse Pizza in Robards. I did finally get to meet her and Miss Ellie and we instantly knew one another when we passed by each other in the store🥰
She's done so much and was just freakin an amazing human being.... why did God need her now?? This is such a loss for all who knew her but also for all those who never for the chance to meet her😞

2024 is 4 months in and has taken so many people I love and care about... I'm so tired of people dying way too soon!!! God please wrap your arms around Kristen Vincents family, especially her children and give them the strength they are going to need to survive the loss of this beautiful soul. This world will never be the same for all those lucky enough to have met this beautiful woman😊

This is who I called to help aid in finding Fiona 2 years ago... Thankfully with the help of so many AWESOME people out in our neck of the woods watching and searching for Fiona as well as great humans like Frank Knight with his drone and many others that helped out! With a special thank you to Kristen Vincent🥰 in getting the word out, Fiona was finally found and caught after 8 very long days out running. Plus these were the absolute COLDEST days of the entire year of course😐

This company I shared was referred to me by a good friend that knew them and even though they didn't end up having to drive 6 hrs here, they were able to give me some great tios on what to do in tracking her down amd what NOT TO DO when trying to catch a lost dog.

Hopefully you never need their type of service, but if you do find yourself in need of a professional, don't wait, call them and they can help! No matter how long you've had your dog or how well you think you know them, when they are running and been out lost and are panicked in unfamiliar territory, you are a complete stranger to them! Things you think you can do or say and they will come running right back to you.... nope! They will run past you like you aren't even there!
Call these folks if you lose your pet, they will give you great tips on what to do and are willing to travel should you need their full services.
Just do thankful we have Fiona back and she's got a tracker on 24/7 now😍

Update: My Boy Cooper is still running amuck please help me find him! I know he is still around! I am offering a 200.00 reward to anyone who finds him. He is neutered and a little shy at first does not like to be held. Please help me locate him, I have had him since a kitten!!!

Finally got to meet Kristin and see Miss Ellie again! Kristin was such a HUGE HELP in finding Fiona❤️ She didn’t hesitate for one second and was calling in all her contacts and reinforcements during those 8 loooong, freezing cold days that Fiona was out lost in😔
She had search team of people with drones and everything lol
Such a BIG ❤️ she had for a dog she had never met🥰!
Kristin and I talked on the phone and text daily when Fiona was lost but never actually met this whole time until we unexpectedly saw each other last week and realized, OMGGGGG we knew each other 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was also able to thank her in person and take some super cute Easter pics of Miss Ellie💗

Addy and I are forever thankful for all your help and the amazing help of everyone who went looking for Fiona
and drive the long way home just to see if they could spot her. We need more people in the world with hearts like you all! Thank you so much from us and Fiona🐾

Fiona is enjoying all the attention, cuddles and kisses she can handle 💕
She came to visit her granny Shaddles today and gets to spend the night tomorrow so she can go get her hair did on Tuesday! Her nose we believe got frostbite but is getting better! She got some medicene on it today and kept trying to lick it off😝
Can’t get enough of this sweet girl!

UPDATE: 12/30
Working on a video from Fiona surprising her mommy at work last night💕

However thought Addy called me and is worried about her baby…. Fiona ALWAYS ALWAYS follows Addy around the house WHEREVER she goes… kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, office, to check the mail etc… Fiona jumps right up to follow her around the house. Well tonight Addy gets up to go get a drink from kitchen then turns off lights, tv and proceeds to walk down hallway to bedroom… She turns off light and still no Fiona at her heels… by now Fiona is usually already jumped up in bed and gotten comfy under her blankey….
Well soon as she flips the bedroom light off she hears Fona start whining… bawling like a baby… So addy calls for her…. She whines louder…. Addy gets back up and turns lights on to go see what’s wrong and why she hasn’t come to bed. She folds Fiona hunkered down in a ball crying😭
She had to physically pick her up and carry her to bed tonight…..
She was so tired last night that after her bath and her ride in the heated seat with her blanket over to surprise her mommy and her belly got full, she fell asleep hanging halfway off the couch…. However tonight Addy was trying to get back to normal schedule and has been loving on her non stop but tonight has her worried… can dogs get PTSD?
Has anyone had a pet aquire a new fear?
She used to walk around the house at night if she got up to go get a drink or something but she’s literally scared and shaking if addy turns off the lights☹️
I have her an appt for a grooming at Happy Hounds next week and Addy has appt at her vet to get chipped and her 1 yr checkup.
She’s always been spoiled and most would of thought she would not make it fending for herself but she spent
8 VERY LONG AND EXTREMELY COLD DAYS AND NIGHTS OUT THERE IN AN UNFAMILIAR PLACE ALL ALONE…. She survived…. But now she’s so scared…. Our poor sweet baby🐾…. Hard to imagine what she had to deal with out there alone all that time…. Breaks my heart💔

I recieved a call this morning from a man named Paul Roberts that told me his wife saw Fiona running across field near oil tanks beside farmer and the Frenchman on her way to work. He took off and went to look but didn’t spot her. I went out driving right after he called til around 2:30. I went to store to get charcoal with plans to grill out some chicken in hopes her sniffer would lead her back this way. I then recieve a call from a girl who was driving down 41 headed home and she thought she saw her in that same field. She went back and pulled in by oil tanks to call me. I asked her to please stay there I’m on my way!
I got there and took out my binoculars and sure enough THERE SHE IS!!! She was over by oil pump just trotting along… well my heart was beating out of my chest with excitement at this point as I screamed it’s FIONA!!! I wanted nothing more than to run after her and give her tons of love but I knew she was in survival mode and was likely gonna run…. Well I had addys shirt for her scent and some treats and leash as we both started towards her. I got down to get level abs threw some food out and hoping she would catch the scent. Unfortunatley wind was not in my favor and she bolted! I had also called my husband to head down Bellfield rd to cut her off… well she booked past him too heading towards tree line beside the drainage ditch and then over to field behind farmer and the Frenchman… I called them owner Katie and she had Fiona in her sight from the winery… by this time I had already called Kristen and she made called and updated group text about the situation… literally within minutes there were more than half dozen people there coming to help! My husband went home and got our sons 4 wheeler and flew back to the field. Me and the girls I was with were stuck on the opposite side of that huge drainage ditch but we watch thru the binoculars as my husband chased gonna as fast as the 4 wheeler would go and pushed her towards the people waiting for her near Belfield rd… my husband kept his arms out and Fiona’s attention while Jeremy Todd was able to come down behind her and grab her! They took her up to the winery and we all went over to meet her and share in the excitement!
She was cold, dirty and let’s say she didn’t smell like roses🤣🤣
Special thank you to the girl in the photo…. She never takes that road home but something told her to go that way just in case cause she saw where I posted she had been seen near the area this morning…. Well that feeling was spot on! She took off thru the muddy field with me after Fiona without hesitation🥰

I mean, people like this and all of you who have followed this 8 day adventure Fiona has took us on…. The world needs more of you!!!! ❤️❤️
I don’t know how to express the appreciation, the gratitude, the love of our amazing community that have taken time out of their days to share the posts, call with tips, sightings, etc

A HUGE GIGANTIC THANK YOU to all of those who came out yesterday to help walk the areas she was last spotted….those who came and brought out drones to search…..those on 4 wheelers riding the fields…. those who allowed us to put up posters at your businesses…. Those of you who prayed so hard for Fiona…. And of course the super amazing woman that organized and called in this team of people! She has some awesome friends for sure! I have yet to meet you Kristen, but I can’t wait to meet you and introduce you to the Famous Fiona the Houdini dog! 😂

You are a God send and thanks to you, Fiona is going home with her mommy tonight to her warm bed with a full belly, bath, treats and her Christmas presents! Plus we will be celebrating our family Christmas now that she has made it home safe!!! All my daughter wanted was her baby back and you guys made it happen!!! I’m just sitting her staring at this sweet face…. Gosh I’m so thankful… she’s a survivor!!! To make it thru the negative temps, wind and snow we have had…. I know many thought she wouldn’t survive but you all never ever gave up on our girl!!!! For that we will forever be grateful🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️

No sightings today…. It’s been a week without seeing her sweet fluffy face and getting tons of kisses and hugs from Miss Fiona😞
We are still searching everyday and determined to find her!
Someone will see her or someone knows where she is…. Praying if she was taken that they do the right thing and return her to her mommy. No questions asked, just want her back with her family:) Thank you to everyone of you that have continued looking and sharing posts and possible sightings!

My daughter is absolutely heartbroken without her sweet Fona and that’s all she wanted for Christmas was her baby back and it’s breaking my heart I haven’t been able to fulfill her only Christmas wish 🥺🙏🏼

UPDATE ON FIONA~ STILL MISSING!! She has not been found yet…
Full search team and multiple drones searched areas for hours today. She was spotted last night by a couple driving down highway when she was crossing I-69 a few miles north of Robards exit going east. They are pretty confident that it was Fiona because they almost hit her when she was running across interstate. They confirmed that she was wearing the pink collar. I consider that good news to know she made it thru the worst days and still within same area❤️ To each and everyone of you that came out with your family or friends and the ones who brought drones to search areas today….. YOU ARE SOME PRETTY AWESOME PEOPLE!!! It’s amazing and so heartwarming to know how many people are looking for our sweet Fiona!! You don’t know how much this means to our family. Especially myself as Addys mom and the helpless feeling of not being able to ‘fix’ the heartbreak she’s going thru with Fiona missing😢
We will continue searching each day and will be posting updates each day until she finds her way back to us!
