Hard to believe we are just 3 short weeks from the start of a new school year. That means if you work in the school system or rely on your student driver for drop off or pick up you have just FOURTEEN business days to get you pups in. But never fear! We will be closed today.

Haley and Makayla will be the only 2 grooming tomorrow and Saturday.

You will need to leave a message if you call the shop, because they do not schedule appointments. If someone gets time over the weekend to check the machine and return some of the calls we will, but it may be Monday before we do.

Starting Monday July 1st we will be accepting cash or card only at both locations for all services. This is also for Joyce's clients as well.

We have been having multiple problems with accepting checks lately resulting in more bank fees and having to redo bookwork multiple times to make things match.

There is no fee if you are using a debit card. If you are using an actual credit card there is a 3% surcharge added to your total.

Just a friendly reminder that we work rain or shine. If you cancel the day of because it is raining that does count as a no show and could result in a bill or at least an added fee for that appointment missed.

We all work by appointment only and depend on our scheduled dogs to show in order to make money, same as if you had an appointment for a doctor, hair dressers, barber, etc.

Bills are due rain or shine.

Four years in a row getting platinum. Thank you all for continuing to allow us to take care of your furbabys needs. I know I'm missing from the picture as I was working at lowes during the time they could get it done, but these girls show up daily ready to work and do their best to have fun while doing it. Couldn't ask for a better group to keep things running while I'm doing other stuff.

It's that time of year again!

All school breaks are our busiest times of year, but especially summer time with grooming.

We highly encourage you reschedule your next grooming appointment (especially large dogs) at time of pick up. This ensures your dog stays on the schedule you like with your current groomer.

Kati's schedule at this time is full with set schedules for the year and can rarely fit call in appointments. She is also the only one besides Haley that grooms in Cairo. Haley can take on bath, or non complex grooms at the cairo location. She will be grooming on her own out there so they must be dogs that do not require assistance of another groomer to be able to lift or hold still to complete.

BOARDING

The next 4 weekends are completely full. We have very limited space during these weeks.

Our first available weekend is not until June 14th.

Fall break is still full.

Just a little boarding update with busy season fast approaching and also grooming appointment updates.

Boarding has 1 small dog room left for Memorial day weekend. We are completely booked for the first weekend in June, we are big dog full the weekend before July 4th, and yes we are still full with a very full cancelation list for fall break.

PSA - You should treat your boarding reservations as you would your own travel booking. Book their stays the same time you book yours, and cancel their stays the same time you cancel your trip. Having a room reserved for your dog is no different than a room for yourself. When it is reserved that makes it not available for anyone else.

Kati only grooms 2 days a week with the occasional Saturday to help keep her regulars on schedule when there is no room during the week. She is booked until June at both locations and will not be accepting any new clients.

Haley is available to do bath dogs, basic/short haircuts, and some maintenance dogs on Mondays in Cairo for those wanting that location.

All other groomers in town have openings within a week and are accepting new clients as well.

Good morning everyone. I wanted to take a minute to remind our boarding folks of a few things. Tomorrow being a holiday, our open hours will be 7:30 am till 9 am. Also, while boarding with us, be sure to bring up to date shot records. Also, please pre-pack your dogs food by meal or day. When we have 30 plus dogs at a time, we do not have room to store 30 plus 40 pound bags, containers, or buckets of food. We have a shelving system for your dogs belongings that individual bags fit in great, big bags and containers not so much. We hope everyone has a great Easter and wonderful spring break.

This weekend is the beginning of Spring Break!!!

Boarding is full. If you have a reservation you no longer need let us know now so we can fill the spot.

Also if you have a grooming appointment for next week, but will not be able to make it, let us know so we can fill those spots as well. No call no shows will be billed for their scheduled appointment and will have to be paid before rescheduling.

Haley has been practicing her camera skills. We recently bought a green screen and lighting kit for her to use at the shop. She is still learning how to use everything, but wanted to offer some Easter Pictures for $5 plus tax. She will take the picture then once edited we will email you a jpeg file of the image.

Haley will be at the in town shop and able to take pictures the next 2 weeks on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10-2:30.

Maybe in the future we can offer full pet photo shoots once she gets everything mastered.

Hard to believe that it has been 7 years since we opened our doors for business.

We have come a long way in the past 7 years. Just 2 years after opening our little shop next to DQ we added a 2nd location to offer boarding. Never did we dream that would take off as fast as it did, but we are grateful for everyone trusting us to care for your furbabys while you are away. Then last year it was time to find a bigger location for in town to accommodate the need of more groomers to try and keep up with the demand.

We are very fortunate to now have 5 great groomers to take care of all your grooming needs, a boarding facility we designed on what we felt comfortable leaving our own furbabys in, and training for those who need a little extra help getting their pups to be great companions.
