He's a good boy who's curious about everything around him, and he would do best in a quiet home without cats or young kids. He’s quite content with his plush toys that don’t make any noise. He does well with other dogs with a proper meet and greet! He enjoys supervising and being wherever you are. He is also exceptionally good at maintaining/trimming the grass and keeping your yard squirrel free.

Introducing Ace! This sweet boy is a 6-7 month old Belgian Malinois Black German Shepherd Mix. He is a HIGH DRIVE dog and will need someone with experience and the time to work and train him. He has not been properly socialized and the shelter is currently working through some things with him to help him. He is going to be around 70-80 pounds full grown. He is fully vaccinated, HW Negative, and will be neutered and microchipped August 22nd, 2024.

Dune has been with us since May 16,2024 (77 days in shelter).
He was picked up by the Hickory Creek PD one night after being dumped near Sycamore Bend Park. He was completely shaved and had some major skin issues. He did not trust anyone at all and it took us a while to gain his trust. Dune never let his past affect him and now loves and trusts everyone. He does great with dogs and kids of all ages. We aren’t sure how he is physically with cats but he does enjoy laying in front of the window and watching them play. This boy is a gentle giant and a huge cuddle bug. He has his little spurts of energy then enjoys going and laying in a nice chair or bed.
Dune is 3-5 years old and is a Shepherd Pitty Mix. He is fully vetted, HW Negative, Neutered, and Microchipped.

Dexter has such a sweet and interesting personality. He is a 3-5 year old Bullmastiff Pit mix and weighs around 60 pounds. He enjoys his own space and time but would also love to be involved in his families life. He’d be good in a home with or without other dogs. He does great with older kids. We know he is not a fan of cats so a home without them is recommended. Dexter would love to go on adventures but would also be very content hanging around the house with his family.

Some may remember Breyer, Brinn, Billie and Braylin (Adopted). They came to us early April as bottle babies. The Officers spent tons of time feeding and raising them and it was quickly discovered that along with needing feeding every 2 hours they also had ringworm. They immediately began treatment and a week ago were fully cleared and healthy! This litter is the most playful and friendly bunch ever. We forgot to post yesterday so up for today’s highlight, Elvira. Elvira came to us March 25, 2024 after being dropped off at our front gates. The Officer spent about 45 minutes trying to coax her to come to them and was finally able to get close enough to throw a leash over her head.
She is a sweet and gentle spirit who would fit well in many different types of households. I am loyal, quiet, and affectionate, and I love giving kisses to the people I love. Even though I can be a bit shy at first, I am an independent spirit who is ready to take on the world with my new family. I would love to be your new companion and adventure buddy. Even though I am not good with other dogs (DOG SELECTIVE), I promise I will stick by your side through thick and thin. I am a lovely girl who is hopeful that you will give me a chance.
