Took Skunk and Denali to our hometown old Settlers parade/ carnival. They enjoyed the attention, especially from a sweet little toddler who kept giving them gentle hugs and kisses. They both won over my mommas heart and she isn’t a dog person lol they both did so good!!

Sorry for the bouncy video. My daughter took it for me lol. But after the rain was over we stretched the dogs legs by taking them for a spin on the wheeler. Little girl Denali figured out how fun it is. It took some convincing and very slow going for a little bit but she made it around the pasture with us too.

Took Skunk and Denali to Easton’s football practice today. It’s a hot one but there is a nice breeze and the shade isn’t too bad.

Cinch is learning how fun car rides are! Wednesday he went to Rural King and Harbor Freight with us and today he went along to take Stetson to the babysitter. He is one of our “stud dogs” and he is awesome. He is learning what stay means when doors open on the van and that rural king has the best treats (popcorn) randomly laying on the floor. lol I do think his favorite person is Stetson also. I love being able to take our adult dogs with us sometimes when we run to town.

A little about my dog’s names.
Liberty is a German short haired pointer. I got her from animal control in 2019. She was picked up as a run away and no one claimed her. She is a free spirit girl and glued to me! I’ve always been about the red, white, and blue and I gave this girl her freedom back on the day I brought her home.
Fletch is a yorkie/terrier mix. He got his name because my son’s name is Easton (like Easton arrows) and fletching is a part of arrows. He is my son’s dog. Both are 9 years old and best friends.
River because I just love that name. She is a small mini Aussie.
Foxie because she had perked ears and looks like a fox. Large toy Aussie
Grizzly because as a young pup he was fluffy and looked like a tiny grizzly bear running around the yard. Toy Aussie
Jessie Jane because my son and niece are obsessed with Jesse James and he wanted to name her. Larger toy Aussie
(At this point I seen a theme and had to stick with it)
Lakota because well Lakota horse trailers. However my husband says it’s after the Indian tribe or something like that. I love the name either way. Toy Aussie
Cinch- which is what is used to keep your saddle on your horse. Toy Aussie
Skunk because when she was younger she looked like flowers the skunk off of Bambi. I tried to call her flowers and Bambi but nothing stuck except skunk lol Toy Aussie
Western/ outdoorsy/ animal it all comes together one way or anything. Just a little fun fact about the dogs.

One way we like to have fun with the dogs is to ride the fourwheeler around the pasture and let them run with us. They love it! We have a small 50cc kids fourwheeler so it sounds faster then we are actually going. But they love to run and be wild and free!
