Jaxx’a hair getting growing again🥺❣️

When double coated dog’s coat can be different or even doesn’t grow back like originally after shave down. It can happen suddenly even their hair has been grow back normally many years. The reason is unclear.

Jaxx’s hair slowly not growing back like before😩 It happened to him. We talked about that with mommy and decided to stop doing haircut then start doing anything can help his hair grow back. We learned, explored and tried many things. It took one year but finally his hair got grow back!! Still some hair on the back is not fully grown but we can see the signs it’s going to grow soon👏
To improve those problem or even skin problems, every 3-4 weeks treatment/3 months or longer continue is necessary to see the any change because of skin cycle. We know it’s requires much patience but trusted us and let us doing🥹 I’m soooo appreciate that!!
And we’re so happy that we could made it😍😍😍

モデル犬のレクちゃんをお借りして4時間のレッスン
4時間あればと思ってたけど全然時間足りず頭までいきませんでした😂シャンプードライからみてもらい、半面目の前で神宮先生がカットするのを間近でみさせてもらって、それにあわせて反面カットしました。目の前でカットが見れるなんて贅沢すぎでした🥺🩷
勉強することたくさんすぎて頭いっぱい、課題山積みですが、目標とするかたちを知れてまずは第一歩でした！神宮先生ありがとうございました🙏そしてこんな素敵なレッスンを開催してくださってるエリールさんに感謝🙏

Borrowed a model dog, Leku, for a 4-hour lesson.
I thought 4 hours would be enough time, but it wasn't enough time at all and I didn't even get to the head 😂 Starting from shampoo and dry, and I was able to watch Jingu-sensei cut the dog in front of me closely on the half side, and I cut the other side accordingly. It was so special to watch him cut right in front of me 🥺🩷.
I have so much to learn and so many issues to work on, but it was a good first step for me to know what I want to achieve! Thank you Jingu-sensei 🙏 and thank you Elle for such a wonderful lesson 🙏!

7/4/2024 Grooming Lesson

去年に引き続きの西岡さんにレッスンをお願いしました🥰今年は　のマイさんと一緒にふたりでレッスン😄

モデル犬を使って、カラーリングとヘアカットのレッスンを午前、午後と2本建てでみっしりしっかり教えていただきました🫶普段のサロンワークにいかせる内容が盛りだくさんで、ついつい普段やってしまっている自分の悪いクセも見えました。今回の気づきや学びをもとに改善して、ロカヒのお客さまわんこをより可愛く手早く仕上げられるようにがんばります🥰
普段のサロンワークでは一頭をじっくりとやる時間がなかなか取れないので、やっぱりレッスンでしっかりと教えてもらいながらワンコと向き合う時間は大切だし必要だなと思いました✨いろんなことを教えてもらって、質問しまくりの私たちにも丁寧にしっかり教えてくださる西岡さんはさすが🥺ほんとは毎月レッスン行きたいくらい🩷

日本帰国中にちょうど行きたかったペットセーバー　の講習が日帰りで行ける距離であると知って行ってきました！
今回は動物事業者向けの講習内容でした。

講師のサニーカミヤ先生は日本で救急隊員を経験したあと、ニューヨークへ渡り救急隊員へ。そこでアメリカではペットの救急救命も行われていることから、日本帰国後にこの講習をスタートされたそうです。マウイに10年住んでいたこともあるそうですよ🤙

たすかる命を助けるために、予測できるリスクを先回りしてシュミレーションし、準備しておく。シンプルだけど非常に効果的な考え方を、改めて大事にしないといけないと気づくことのできる講習でした。そして考えることや、取り組むこともたくさんみえてきました😵‍💫

大事なわんちゃんを安全に、なるべくストレスをかけずにグルーミングをして無事にお客様にお返しする。ロカヒドッググルーミングは、仕上がりよりもわんちゃんの健康、安全、快適さが大切だと思う思っています。

Back to February 🫣

We had another dog parents class!!
We learned and practice how we can keep our dog in good condition🐶✨ We learned dog’s skin basic knowledge first and then reviewed tools everyone usually using. Some of them had right one and not the one for their dog. We choose good tools for own dog and practiced brushing!
Everyone did amazing 🤩 It was super fun class!

I really enjoy the class and pleasures to help dog and dog parents will have much comfort/happy life☺️🫶

Chika’s last day🥲

Chika had her last day at Lokahi this week. She’s been at Lokahi over 5 years. We had soooo much things to get over together. She is such a amazing groomer. I also respect her, she is sweetest person🥰 I can’t say thank you enough to Chika🥹💕

We are so sad to she left Lokahi but also happy for her! She open up her own salon 👏✨ I’m sure she is going to success☺️

But unfortunately he has tangles this few times so we went over about “brushing at home”.
