It is with heavy hearts that Justin and I announce we are closing our business DemaLu Pet & House Sitting.
Due to Justin's health and our age we have decided to close this chapter of our lives.
We have so enjoyed getting to love on your pets over the years and truly appreciate your support of our business. We have grieved with you over your losses because they were our loss too. We got attached to your furbabies as if they were our own. And when we think back over the years and see our photo memories they bring a bittersweet smile because we miss them as well and will miss those that are still causing mischief and laughs now.
We started this little thing back home in Pensacola with one client, and when we moved to Birmingham it grew from my grooming job at PetSmart. It gave Justin a purpose while waiting for transplant, and afterwards a career that allowed him the freedom and flexibility to take care of himself.
God has always provided for us. When we sent letters to our few clients asking for their support to help grow, you all helped us grow from less than 10 to over 80 strong. We never promoted, it was all word of mouth by you.
As we say goodbye we simply want to express our gratitude and say "THANK YOU!" It has meant so much to us to be able to take care of your homes and pets and to call many of you friends. We will certainly miss you and your furbabies.
