🦃 Once upon a time, a group of dog settlers known as the "Pawgrims" had successfully planted their favorite treats and toys in a bountiful garden. They were so grateful for their harvest that they decided to invite the local Native American dogs, the "Wampanoagwoofs," to join them in a grand feast.

🐾 The Pawgrims and Wampanoagwoofs wagged their tails in excitement as they gathered together for four glorious days of celebration. They shared delicious lick mats with turkey, pumpkin, and cranberry.

🍁 During the festivities, the Pawgrims and Wampanoagwoofs engaged in playful games of fetch and tug-of-war, showcasing their athletic skills. They exchanged unique tricks and commands, learning from one another's training techniques. Some of the pups were thrilled to discover Plymouth Rock on their nature walk.

🐕 In the spirit of gratitude and friendship, the Pawgrims and Wampanoagwoofs presented each other with special gifts. The pawgrims offered play bows and zoomies, while the Wampanoagwoofs gifted licks and wags.

🍽️ The first Thanksgiving celebration among the dogs became a legendary event, symbolizing unity, cooperation, and the joy of sharing. It taught them the importance of coming together, despite their differences, to appreciate the blessings they had at their favorite Montessori School for Dogs.

The most common issues we see with dogs in our care are hands-down itchy skin issues!! 🦠

Well… Mr Kevin got ahold of some chicken which he’s allergic to 🤦🏽‍♀️ (by the way we do offer food sensitivity testing which is how we know this now). This resulted in a flare up of hot inflamed itchy skin!

However, this made for the perfect time to test out a new product we have available.

🧪 Inflapotion! 🧪

🌱 Inflapotion is an all natural herbal supplement for dogs, cats, and horses. 🐶 🐱 🐴

We have Inflapotion available in an ingestible powder form, liquid form, and capsule form. And they also now have a topical form. Typically this product promotes healthy joints, relieves aches and discomfort, and supports more mobility. However the topical ingredients which include emu oil, caster oil, and vitamin E are perfect for skin irritations. I gave it a try on Kevin and he hasn’t scratched ALL day! The after photo was taken 4 hours after application and at this moment, 8 1/2 hours later, it’s even more cleared up. I’ll post a now photo in the comments.

I’m very impressed with how well this product helped Kevin’s skin flare up. I’m even more impressed at how well the ingestible form has helped my own senior dogs to run around and feel great with no joint pain or discomfort! I’ve also heard great results with clients using the powder form for joint support as well! Dogs that once limped around are now frolicking and playing pain free! 🐕

Sweet little Prince was one of our clients who needed extra special care and “grooming training” aka a more holistic and patient approach with the grooming process until he was more comfortable and confident. This required grooming with our groomer Tiffany who specializes in safe care and special needs, more frequent visits, and plenty of breaks during services to lessen stress. With lots of love and reassurance Prince has now “graduated” and met his new groomer Myra today. He’s still a little dancy for his grooming but all and all he has come a very long way! We are very appreciative to Prince’s parents who have been so patient and supportive of the process to ensure that Prince has a comfortable and safe grooming experience with us. 🐾
