Last nights Poodle Exercises! “Front and Back Paw Targeting to build balance and communication between handlers and their poodles.
Last night we were practicing “Front and Back Paw Targeting”…..if you are not
Familiar with these fun exercises they work to help our poodles with balance, patience and help the communication between handlers and their Poodles. This also tremendously helps handlers figure out their body position in relation to their dogs as they learn how important their own body position is for success in completing the exercise correctly.

They worked hard tonight and Poodles were wonderful! This was Giant Poodle Franks very first group class ever! He was so good and we appreciated his comic relief (even if his Mom was rolling her eyes 😂)

We always change our exercises each week to keep our perky poodles interest and help them to have a great time while they are working. We have some very young faces in this class, it was so neat to see them maintain their stays with such a high level of distraction! EXCELLENT!♥️🙌🏽♥️

We had a blast in this class! We have brand new baby poodles added and I just love how they rise to the occasion each class and learn so quickly to keep up with our more advanced dogs! I also love the added distractions of puppy fun-ness with our advanced dogs it keeps them attentive and HAPPY!😄
We had some good laughs as we asked for their patience in waiting to be called! Great job by all!
