Bu****le clencher benedicta: if you’ve kept them, you understand 😅

This is my oldest pair and with a break in shows, I finally moved them into a new tank I’ve been letting grow in. I’ve had these guys for years, so they’re about as cooperative as benedicta get, but they’ll still make ya clench your butt every time you try to catch them!

Lightning fast and master escape artists, these are among the most difficult darts to keep in my opinion. They are beautiful, but definitely not beginner friendly. I do have some froglets I’ll have at my next show, HERPS Austin, if you’re looking to up your Ranitomeya game!

I will be vending Conroe this weekend, January 27-28. Tiny, but mighty (and absolutely stunning!) reticulata are one of my top favorite dart frog species and I will have some available, including a sexed calling male ready to breed!

I’ve been enjoying some time off with my family and friends out in the woods and on the water and hope y’all had a great holiday season as well!

Thank you to those of y’all that have supported Urban Amphibia in 2023. Whether you are a longtime customer or a new one, I sincerely appreciate your support!

With that said, both of my businesses have grown and work-life balance is key to staying successful, so I will be implementing some new policies from this point forward.

You are welcome to message me about availability, but repeated spamming, clogging up my inboxes will not be tolerated. For instance, if I tell you I do not have any blue jean froglets at the moment, obviously I am not going to have any available for sale a month later. The amount of this that occurred in 2023 caused other peoples’ legitimate messages to get buried and that is not fair to them or me. Repeated offending will result in getting blocked.

I will not hold frogs any longer without a non-refundable 50% deposit. I accept PayPal, Square, Venmo, CashApp and Zelle.

I will hold frogs for two weeks at no additional charge. If you need me to hold on to them for longer than that, there will be a $20 a week boarding fee. These animals need daily care that requires my time, tank space, electricity, water and food. Exceptions will be made at my discretion, particularly for my repeat customers at the shows I vend.

I hope everyone understands the need for these policy changes. I have some new species and localities I’m working with that will hopefully be available in 2024!

For people that think we’re kidding when we say crocs can make great pets for the right people willing to care for them correctly…

AJ is puppy dog tame, has been handled by hundreds of people from toddlers to senior citizens and always falls asleep in my lap during shows. Crocodilians are very intelligent and trainable if you are willing to put the time in with them and stay consistent! 💚🐊

To honor Bonnie’s recent passing, the woman who created my hometown show near and dear to my heart, I decided to do something I’ve never done before: I’m offering this beautiful CBB blues jeans produced by me up for grabs at the Texas Reptile Expo this weekend. My blue jeans have always been my most in demand frog, so I have never had any available to just bring to a show. But I wanted to do something a little extra special this weekend, so I’m willing to part ways with this stunner that I’ve been holding back. Patrons and vendors, let’s make this Texas Reptile Expo the best one to date in honor of its creator.
