While we do stand our dogs on a limited basis at stud we require the following:
1) Health clearances. A compatible DNA panel to the boys, OFA hips *and* elbows or the equivilant in a foreign country. CAER eye clearance. Disclosure of any health, color or temperament issues in immediate relatives (grandparents, sire, dam, siblings) that might impact the outcome of the breeding,
2) A complete five generation pedigree
3) A correct temperament
4) Correct structure.
5) Correct color to the breed standards
6) Titles in a major organization (AKC, ASCA, FCI, Canada) Performance titles or conformation.
7) Brucellocis testing within 30 days of the breeding.
8 ) A video of puppy evaluations at 7-8 weeks and photos of each puppy at eight weeks.
9) A list of buyers and that our contacts be shared with them so that any important information may be shared. We can not make educated decisions about our boys without communication.
10) All owners of the girl must be in good standing with ALL registries.
11) Have a well thought out goal other than simply producing “nice” puppies and be able to intelligently discuss that goal and how my dogs and their pedigrees help you achieve that.
12) Know my dogs names because if you don’t know their names, that breeding hasn’t been well thought out.
