Will & Grace - this bonded pair has lost their beloved mom and is still looking for that forever home to settle into.

They are 9 years old and listed as Chihuahua mixes but are mixed with something soft & snuggly, maybe like an American Eskimo or Spitz. They sometimes are a little standoffish with new people but warm up very quickly. If you get Will to trust you, Grace follows quickly, and neither let them stop petting them.

They are ok around other smaller dogs and probably prefer a calmer household. We are unsure about cats. Both are around 17-18 lbs.

Agnes has gotten close to that forever home a number of times, but much like many of us that have been through the dating experience, she seems to attract admirers with "commitment issues."

She's a smart little cutie pie, so she's not letting it get to her. Agnes has been doing a little introspection and working on herself.
She's been doing more of that puppy training at the rescue to try and make her more of a model citizen. Agnes is a loyal pup, loves cuddles & belly rubs.
She is a fun-loving, playful girl with other dogs and has lived in a home with cats.
She is great in a car and is working on being more brave on the leash. She will need more adventures to get her there.
We are not placing her in a home with small children only due to her having a more "puppy mouthy" playstyle that may need an adult to redirect her at times. It is not aggressive and is easily redirected.

It’s Zuri and it’s day 7 of my 30 day adoption challenge. I love getting love. I love my teenage house mates. I follow them everywhere and sleep in each of their beds because I like to spread my love; I’m just that kind of girl. I’d sure like a home where I can have some people to love. I can’t believe I’m still here. Everyone thinks I’m beautiful but I’m not adopted yet. So maybe you can help get the word out? Please help me find a forever home. 23 years ago today, Americans from all walks of life came together—united by our sadness, our common humanity, and love for country.

We gave without expecting anything in return, setting aside our differences and reaching out to strangers as we were meant to - as our neighbors, as part of our community.

The absolute worst thing we have collectively experienced inspired the best in so many of us.

9/11 Day was created in the hope of rekindling that spirit of unity. So once again, let's come together, knowing that we're more powerful united than we are divided.

This 9/11 Day, let's all make a positive impact on the world around us. Changing the world ultimately starts with many of us doing something seemingly small in our own space.

It’s now day 6. Can you believe it? A gorgeous girl like me is sitting in a shelter homeless? Can you tell me why? This was me before when I had a home. I’m just chillin’ on the couch with my peeps. But my mom is now gone. She was my world. I need a family who will give me a chance to start over and be happy again. Please help me. Share me.

Willow Wisp is a truly gorgeous Aussie mix.

This 3-year-old is playful and friendly but is an Aussie, not a Golden Retriever, and needs an owner who is experienced with the herding breeds or very willing to learn their needs. In her foster home, she has been an easy dog around the home, getting along with the dogs and enjoying daily walks and bonding time.

She gets along with other calmer dogs, but we will not be placing her with children or cats due to the herding tendencies of her breed.

Day 5 of my 30 day adoption challenge. Can you tell me why I’m homeless? My mom died and that devastated me. I’ve learned to adapt and I’m still fun and full of love. Now I just need someone to share my love with. Kids are good. People are good. Cats are a no go for me. I can pick my dog friends. I like a lot of them but not all of them.

I’m a beautiful 6 year old girl weighing in at about 25 lbs. So what do you say? Can my beautiful blue eyes persuade you to give me a chance? You will love me!

Lovely Lilah wants to know, who needs a buddy for jogging or really long walks?
If it is you, she says she is your girl.

Or, do you currently have that dog that needs a more active playmate because you can't wear them out? She would be perfect for that, too.

Lilah is a Lab-Whippet mix who lives to run and play. She likes most other dogs around her size or bigger. She is about 40lbs now that we are trying to put weight on her. Lilah also enjoys playing with toys and splashing in the pools in our yards. In her previous life, she went to dog parks quite a bit.

Lilah does like her downtime and is very sweet with people. She's a cuddler. She will need to get that energy out first to be the best dog.

Yesterday, we confirmed that we somehow missed one of our very long-awaited .
But look, our lovely Teela now has the benefit of her own professional photo
shoot pictures being posted because she is just that cherished by her new mom & especially dad (see the video in the comments)💗

Teela was one of our dogs from North Florida who came in with a little buddy who got adopted right away. When we found out she had to undergo heartworm treatment, it put her dreams of a on hold for a while. As we see in rescue all the time, there is always a plan we don't see. That extra time brought her this amazing family who truly adores her with a canine sibling to bond with.

Talk about making hearts happy and seeing the results of so many people working together. Thank you for stopping by. It made me smile all day😊

Day 2 of Zuri’s 30 day adoption challenge. Want to know why she is with us? Well, her mom who she did everything with, suddenly died. It was unexpected and devastating for the family and for her. It was nothing she did and nothing she ever imagined would happen. Now Zuri is with us and wondering when she is going to find her forever home and family. She is sweet, loves car rides and walks. Furry Friends Friday is canceled for today. We apologize, but we are in emergency mode trying to coordinate fosters for the overwhelming number of dogs we have brought in that really need our help. Noodle has recovered and is ready to move on!

This 5-year-old, 16 lb Shih tzu, gave everyone a scare recently with his recent fight with pneumonia at the Emergency Vet. That is old news and in the rear view mirror to him. He is feeling great now and is up for adoption.
