Over 30 Years of Compassionate Equine Training & Nurturing
Since we were kids, we've loved horses. We've loved taking care of them, we've loved riding them, and we never stopped!
Originally from Long Island, the rich beauty of the Hudson Valley drew us up to our current location in 1986.
We began with eventing, but our interest in dressage deepened as we trained with various people, including Debbie Bowman, Lendon Gray, Chris Hickey and the Barisones. In addition, Emily spent some time with Ulla Saltzegeber in Europe.
Along the way we have both earned our 4th level USDF training certifications, as well as won numerous competitions and earned our bronze and silver medals. In 2017, Emily returned to the National championships, this time placing in both the PSG and I1, and contributing to the reserve championship as part of the Region 8 team. However, perhaps our biggest achievement is the trusted team we have built of devoted individuals who help us create a healthy and loving environment for our horses each day.
The experience of any horse at Apple Hill is one centered around love and enthusiasm, which permeates our approach to training and nurturing the horses that we take under our care.
Whether you are the casual rider or training for Grand Prix, we have flexible options to fit your needs, and particularly the needs of your horse.
