We came to an agreement! Severine and her pups got a window A/C unit to keep them comfortable. The house isn’t as warm as the barn, at least. With 100°+ temps, I clocked the barn over 90° during the day for the past week 😬 Glad we keep our pups inside for the first few weeks to get stable!

Job 1, Livestock. This is why we breed Anatolian Shepherds- because they keep our livestock from becoming dead stock.
We have many apex predators here on our mountain in Montana. They all agree that pork is worth some significant efforts to obtain. That is why livestock guardian dogs have been an integral part of our life here!
These piglets are cute, but they are also valuable. If we didn’t have our Anatolians here, we would not have the survival rates we do with our piglets. This is how our dogs contribute not only to our farm, but those of our clients who grow out and breed or harvest our piglets. The dogs make it happen.
Regardless of where a dog comes from or what “famous” or “insignificant” dogs are in his pedigree, what matters to the pig and the bear alike is how the dog performs their work every day. That is what we look for in our dogs.
Not every breeder is the same!
We had a couple negative reviews left for a different Anatolian Shepherd breeder on our Google business profiles. This made Natalie want to clear up that not every Anatolian breeder is the same, and reviews matter to small businesses!
