I usually delete these, but this is the first one I've seen where the tornado risk is 'HIGH'. If you are in the yellow area, please be sure to be prepared. Have water and food for your furbabies on hand, and pre-plan a safe place for you to go, in the event the worst happens. Your pets frighten and try to run, so if you have kennels, it would be good to have those on hand as well.

JoyBulls Face of the Morning Star (Star) is a new AKC Champion, pending confirmation! A 4 point major!
Our first Champion, bred by us. We're so over the moon happy. 1½ years old and now working toward his GCH.
Thank you Patti Sears and Premier French Bulldogs for showing our boy so beautifully this weekend.
Thanks to the Arklahoma Cluster and Judge Denny Mounce for picking our boy out of a stunning lineup of French Bulldogs.

Well, we started with this little singleton girl...Premier's You Are My Sunshine at JoyBulls - 'Shine'. We went to OK and picked her up from Patti...Premier French Bulldogs, on Sat.

Later that evening, we got the 2nd pic from Patti. Shine and this other little girl were both singletons but were nursed and raised together. She was so lonely.

After some discussion with Joy and Patti...some very brief discussion, mind you...I hauled my butt back down to OK to pick up Premier's A Taste of Creme Brulee at JoyBulls - 'Rue'.

Thank you Premier French Bulldogs for trusting us with not one, but two of your sweet girls!

Looks like we'll be showing 3 dogs this year!

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you dump, or drop your older dog at the shelter because you got a new puppy for Christmas...you're the sorriest excuse for a human there is.

When your dog comes to the dog pound because you’re tired of him, because he bothers you, prevents you from going on vacation or other excuses...

He sits and waits.
He's waiting for you to come get him.
A second, a minute, an hour, a day, a month, a year --- he's waiting for you.

He doesn’t know why, but he’s waiting because he trusts you, because unlike you, he loves you.

Listen up well then. Your animal is not a toy.
Think twice before getting a pet. You have the responsibility of a living being and of a family member.

And THIS is what's going on with our beautiful breed. Add this to all the fad color/coat mixed breeds that are being bred and you can see that being the #1 most popular breed in the nation is NOT a good thing.
Please! Do your research. Don't buy from fad color breeders, or other disreputable breeders. Those dogs are mixed breeds, no matter how much those 'breeders' will try to tell you different. They're neither "rare", nor "highly desirable". They are mixed breeds, plain and simple.
Don't buy from pet stores (i.e. Petland). Pet stores get their dogs primarily from puppy mills. Ask for references. Talk to those references! Don't be afraid to walk away. Don't get caught up with 'puppy fever'.
A reputable breeder will help you find another reputable breeder, if they don't have a puppy you're looking for. A reputable breeder will have a clause in their contract that is meant to ensure their dogs don't end up in shelters, or on an auction block.
Rescues are also an option. There are so many great rescues around. If you want to know of a few...DM us and we'll share some with you.
Please help us preserve wonderful breed!

It's probably a good idea to limit your pet's interaction with other dogs for a while.

An unknown respiratory illness has been reported in 14 states stretching from Florida to California while the cause remains under investigation.

We got this beautiful remembrance today, from someone. There was no return address, card, note, or any other way to identify who it came from.
Whoever you are, and if you follow this page, THANK YOU. This was so touching and thoughtful. It will go on Louie's memorial shelf, along with some of his other things.
We are continously surprised by the amount of support we've received from complete strangers.
Thank you doesn't begin to cover it.

It was a bittersweet day. Got the call that Louie was ready to come home.
We'll make him a little memorial shelf. Somewhere we can touch him on our way out the door.
Rest pain free, son. Dad will be there before you know it. We love you bubba.

I'll start by saying I don't know this little girl, or any of her family and friends.
I saw this flyer on a donation jar, on a Sonic counter while getting lunch, and it touched me for some reason.
It seems all the news is bad, these days. We might not be able to change the world, but we might be able to change this little girl's world.
We have a chance to create a core memory for this little girl...something that she'll remember for the rest of her life.
If you feel inclined, go to her FB page and buy something?
I couldn't find a donation button, so I messaged her. Her mother gave me permission to share her PayPal link. It's . All the money goes straight to Mariah's account.

This sweet boy was found on the west side of town. Intact and very thin. No chip.

Hi everyone! We'll be in St. Joseph, MO, this weekend, at the Civic Arena. Star will be competing for his AKC Champion title.
Come out and say hello if you're in the area and have some time to spare. Star loves meeting people.
Saturday we'll be near Ring 5 at 1:30 p.m., and Sunday we'll be at Ring 4 at 12:30 pm.

We'll be in Oklahoma City next week (Wed-Sun), at the Oklahoma Fairgrounds. Come out and say hello! You can see this boy compete for his AKC Championship title.
There will lots of beautiful dogs, of all breeds. You can come see all the wonderful breeds compete in everything from dock diving, to Fast Cat, and Conformation.
Ring assignments aren't available at the moment. I'll try to update, as soon as they are available.
