Thank you all who made the first few weeks of our grand reopening amazing! While Funland at the Zoo is closed for the season, stop by the Idaho Falls Zoo, which will remain open for a little longer. We can't wait to see you next year!!

IDAHO FALLS — Funland amusement park near the Idaho Falls Zoo is one step closer to opening after years of renovations. When Funland at the Zoo reopens, most rides will look very similar to how they looked 60 years ago. But one exception is the airplane ride. We are reusing the plane bodies, but they’re getting a facelift to look like World War II planes.

It’s Idaho Gives week! Since 1948, Funland, neighboring the Idaho Falls Zoo, has long provided communities throughout Eastern Idaho with unique recreational opportunities. With your help, Funland can once again be a special, nostalgic place where families and friends can gather and play. All funds from our Idaho Gives campaign, in partnership with the Tautphaus Park Zoological Society, will be directly used to restore and renovate the rides and log hut at Funland.
