SHOOTERS BLACK SWAN (Murphy) has been a phenomenal dog to raise and train . We got him from old friends who bred his parents who knew I loved the breed and how we after a break from owing Pointers got both Dan And I back in to breed. ( THANK YOU BREEDERS SARA Champagne and ASHLEY MILLER ) He is gentle and careful in house with even toy dogs and elderly . He seems to know difference between some one who is not able to play due to frailty or size and those who are and acts accordingly just by instinct . Showing his sensitivity and intelligences in telling the difference . Outside he is all boy and loves to Hunt, Point, Retrieve on up land birds and conditions AND HE LOVES WATER and has taken to it and water retrieves like a duck ! By 8 months he was DOCK JUMPING with best of them and was reliably doing TRIPLE RETRIVES IN DEEP OPEN WATER. He early on was pointing on birds and bringing back pheasants . He sleeps in our room and is easy on the house . He is attentive to what both his owners are doing and wants from him and stays home and in range . Making him and easy dog to train and have as his temperament and behavior is very level and very manageable. Probably the best Short Hairs either Dan or I have owned in all our years of Short Hairs . One of his other talents he rides Jet Skis in lake with his dad and absolutely LOVES IT ! MARLETTE ( Whinny) And her full Sister MARQUETTE where bred in Indiana by :
ON POINT KENNEL Owned by SPENCER PIER . They grew up for there first year traveling with there breeder and there parent dogs on many adventures such as hunting at Grouse Camp in Michigan and hunter camp trips in Manistee Forest in Michigan. ON POINT KENNEL made it possible for us to purchase these two beautiful already started hunting females last fall . We picked them specifically for breeding to Shooters' Black Swan and eagerly await our coming pups with them both ! Both they girls have joined family seamlessly and are enjoying there new home here in Michigan with Murphy here at the farm . They also stay in the house and enjoy the games of chase fetch and Dock Jumping along with water dog sports in the private lake. ( they are also full sibling to "Gabby" A Nationally Ranked Dock Jumper.) Marquette is a hunting machine and always looking for a bird to point at ! She is a strong dog with beautiful conformation and covers ground like a ghazel . She shows no hesitation on water retrieves and swims like a duck. Marlette having grown up with her sister loves to hunt right along side her . They work together and make a formidable sniffing birds team and honor and back up each others points . Marlette loves to bring back birds once they are down . They are both tough and gritty and get in to heavy cover strongly for birds . ( having grown up following both there parents on Manistee Forest hunting and fishing trips they know how to handle any terrain and stay on birds.) Both are trainable and responsive and have adjusted to new home and yard limits ( 34 acers and 10 acer lake ) very well.

*** currently we have no young puppies we have 6 and 7 month old started dogs who have been exposed to target practice near kennel, they have been finding caged birds in various locations on farm. They are retrieving and returning to handler planted birds. They are swimming and retrieving and return target bumper back to handler . They can be turned out and the stay in yard or by garage and have been in crates with out carrying on at night nicely . They will be ready by fall to get out in field and hunt for you if you continue on same training program as they have more than shown they are willing dogs with desirer to preform in field or water . We strive to produce excellent Hunting dog that are sound and have trainable temperaments which can be solid companion and family dogs . If you would like to be on waiting list for future puppies please send us a PM and we will put you down for next available puppy slot in coming litters which we only will breed again when 10 paid puppy deposits and contracts are filled. An interesting view allows us to observe the attachment of the cutaneous trunci muscle onto the hind leg blending with a fascia covering the stifle.
But also gives us a great view of how the transverse pectoral muscle attaches to antebrachial fascia.

When you’re struggling to support an autistic child or adult, do this…

If you’re like me, you’re on mailing lists for various things related to autism, and have shelves full of books on specific topics from behaviour to interventions. Most of these books and articles you read, getting inspired techniques and ideas.

But do you ever find strategies that work?

See, I know a lot of parents and professionals for many years myself, I also faced similar difficulties in getting strategies that work. And then I thought it would be much more easier and fun, If I had a group of people that were looking for practical strategies that work.

It’s like being part of a community that likes the same things that you like. You’ll make some new friends, and most importantly, you’ll find practical strategies that actually support an autistic person.

That’s why we focused on building a community of parents and professionals, because at the end of the day, we all need support, and learning about autism is much more fun when you’ve the right people to share it with.

Sausage Balls

Ingredients :

1 pound spicy pork sausage you can use mild if preferred
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
2 cups biscuit baking mix e.g., Bisquick
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup milk optional, for moister balls

Instructions :

Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and to make cleanup easier.
In a large bowl, combine the sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, biscuit mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. If your mixture seems a little dry or you prefer moister sausage balls, add the milk. Mix until all ingredients are well combined. It's easiest to use your hands for this to ensure the ingredients are thoroughly integrated.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Space them about an inch apart as they will expand a little while cooking.
Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. The sausage should be sizzling and the cheese melted and lightly browned.
Remove from the oven and let the sausage balls cool slightly on a wire rack before serving. They can be served warm or at room temperature.
