Troopers Investigating Child Luring Incident

Rayne Township, PA – Troopers are investigating a reported incident of child luring that occurred earlier today in northern Indiana County.

Troopers were advised that approximately 4:00 p.m. today (Tuesday), an unknown suspect attempted to lure an 11-year-old boy toward a vehicle along Washington Church Road in Rayne Township after the victim got off of his school bus and was walking home.

The suspect was reported to have remained in the vehicle and no physical contact was reported to have occurred between the victim and the suspect.

Following this incident, the victim proceeded to his residence and notified his parents.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 30’s with short hair and wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and a bandana or facial covering.

The suspect was reported to be driving a black Toyota sedan, possibly a Prius, which fled toward SR 119. The vehicle was reported to have possible damage to its passenger side.

This incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to immediately contact Troop A, Indiana at 724-357-1960

A lady asks: "How much do you sell your eggs for?"

The old vendor replies "50¢ an egg, madam.” The lady says, “I'll take 6 eggs for $2.50 or I'm leaving.”

The old salesman replies “Buy them at the price you want, Madam. This is a good start for me because I haven't sold a single egg today and I need this to live.”

She bought her eggs at a bargain price and left with the feeling that she had won.

She got into her fancy car and went to a fancy restaurant with her friend. She and her friend ordered what they wanted. They ate a little and left a lot of what they had asked for.

They paid the bill, which was $150. The ladies gave $200 and told the fancy restaurant owner to keep the change as a tip...

This story might seem quite normal to the owner of the fancy restaurant, but very unfair to the egg seller...

The question it raises is:

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆?

I once read this somewhere ,that a father used to buy goods from poor people at high prices, even though he didn't need the things. Sometimes he paid more for them.

I was amazed. One day his son asked him "Why are you doing this Dad?" His father replied: "It's charity wrapped in dignity, son."

I want to challenge each one of us to do better. We can do that.

Please spread the word! Timber was LOST on July 20, 2023 in Brush Valley, PA 15748 near Rt 56 Hwy E, Homer City, PA

Message from Owner: We miss her so much, our 2 other dogs and cats miss her and have been crying out for her. We believe someone took her to breed her not knowing she is fixed. She takes medications and has a special diet that she needs or she will get blocked kidneys and colan. She was a rescue as a puppy for being neglected and had horrible separation anxiety and is terrified of storms. Please help us

Update...

Sheba has found her forever home today. Thank you to everyone who shared our post and reached out to us. She will have 27 acres to run and a buddy to play with. We are so thankful to the gentleman who decided to take her and make her part of his family
❤️ 🐾 ❤️🐾

This is Sheba. She is a 2 year old Lab/German Shepherd mix. Her current living arrangement is abhorrent. She lives in a cage most of the time, and the current owners can't take care of her. She needs a new home immediately. We would take her ourselves, but our 16 year old Australian shepherd is in no condition to handle a larger addition to our family. Please, if you or someone you know is interested, contact us, and we can arrange a meeting.

We will give her a full groom for free before she goes home with her new owner.
