Incident: Traffic Stop with Drug Arrest

On November 25th, 2024 at approximately 07:47pm, a Sheriff's Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for several equipment violations in the area of Pioneer Road and South Main Street in the City of Fond du Lac.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 39 year old female from Fond du Lac. The female had no known criminal history.

The passenger was identified as a 39 year old male from Fond du Lac. This male had a criminal history dating back to 2001 involving fi****ms and narcotics related crimes. At the time of the stop, this subject was on supervision through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for the past convictions of being a felon in possession of a firearm and intent to distribute co***ne.

During the course of the traffic stop, Sheriff's Office K9 Iro was deployed on the vehicle and indicated a positive alert for the presence of illegal narcotics. Deputies searched the vehicle and located nine crack pipes, eleven push rods, a scale with co***ne residue, bowls with crack co***ne residue, and glass beakers which contained a white residue inside and believed to being used to manufacture "crack" co***ne, as well as other articles related to drug paraphernalia. Deputies searched the glove box and located a loaded black .380 handgun, with a chambered round. Neither occupant had a concealed carry license and the passenger was a convicted felon.

The female operator was arrested and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She is also facing numerous traffic citations. Just prior to arriving at the jail, the female confessed that she had a large amount of co***ne concealed inside of her. Upon arrival at the Fond du Lac County Jail, staff was able to recover approximately 28 grams of co***ne from her person. She was additionally charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Co***ne and Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place. She received a $500 cash bond and has since posted this bond, she is no longer in custody.

The male passenger was arrested and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Co***ne, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and violation of probation. He is currently still in custody at the Fond du Lac County Jail on a $3,000 cash bond and violation of his probation.
