This morning the rainbow was a buzz. Thousands of animals all across heaven made their way to the end of the bridge. As the pilgrimage paraded across the fields other animals called out "where is everyone going?" The journeying animals replied "we're going to greet our best friend, our savior". Astounded by the vast and varied assortment of animals making the journey, the fellow animals joined the journeying animals. At the bridge all the fields and hills were hidden by all the people, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, squirrels, coyotes, raccoons... animals of every size, shape, color, species. The hills buzzed with everyone's stories of the love and care from their most revered human being.

A quiet suddenly befell the land. All eyes turned expectantly to the bridge. A bright light shown from the other side of the bridge. Gaining in intensity as it filled the sky and its comforting warmth covered all the people and animals. Soon a small figure appeared at the end and grew in intensity as it crossed the span of the rainbow bridge. As the figures foot crossed the threshold at the end of the bridge all the animals and people cheered, hollored, and filled the heavens with their joyous calls. Giving thanks to Dr Weber as he beheld the most wonderous sight anyone has ever seen and smiled from ear to ear to see all his friends and patients happy, healthy, and whole.

Another quick update on Dr. Weber! Yesterday, Doc was scheduled to have his kidney tubes replaced. But was in so much pain (and has been for weeks), an ambulance transported him to surgery. After waiting all day, his procedure went really well. In recovery his first words were "no pain." He is home now. Still a little shaky from all he went through and being in pain for so long but he is up and walking around. He has an appointment tomorrow for his second cancer treatment. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Quick update on our Dr. Weber.πŸ’•
Dr Weber is feeling better, and in good spirits! He still has tubes draining both kidneys (and probably always will). He started immunotherapy the other day and feels okay, not great but okay. He's put on some weight and looks good too. The Clinic is getting bombarded with stories former clients have about Dr. Weber! All touching, many hilarious. A testament to a man that has given his all to our companion animals for more than FIVE DECADES. Here's one:

We found a haggard, orange and ginger striped tabby kitty walking on the sides of his front paws in the parking deck at St Vincents.

He had a very rare thing called Podo-dermatitis.

Very rare, and very very very difficult to get rid of. It’s basically just dried gunk that gets into their paw pads and gets so big that it causes their paw pads to rupture.

Dr. Grant did all she could, and Dr. Henckell did all she could and both of them said take him to Weber.

I took him in one afternoon, and he told me just to leave Yancey with him.

I called the next day thinking I would need to come pick him up. They told me Dr. Weber would be keeping him for a while because he would need to treat him every day.

Well, Yancey stayed with Dr. Weber for six months and he did three surgeries and then called me one day and said he thought he had it taken care of.

Mind you, I went every week to visit Yancey and would have gone more but I could tell my visits sort of disrupted their activities there at the clinic.

So I go and pick up Yancey and of course I’m thinking what in the world this bill is going to be.

So Dr. Weber takes the blue card and gives it to the lady at the desk, and I looked at
the receptionist and said something to the effect that I’m imagining I’m probably going to need to make monthly payments.

She looked at me and said: $60.

I said this months payment? And she said: no, $60.

I told her that didn’t even cover his food for six months.

So, I wrote a check for $60.

And I wrote a $200 check for their benevolent fund and every time I went in afterwards would write a check towards the benevolent fund as well.

I don’t even know if there is a benevolent fund, but I figured they would do with it what they needed to do with it.

Gadsden, Alabama

One of Dr. Weber's Clients reached out about this handsome boy named "Finn."
Finn is an older male puppy, around 35 lbs.
He was dumped by his heartless "Owner."
Poor boy wandered the mean streets of Gadsden for FIVE DAYS begging for help,
was hit by a car (somehow not injured), while cruel people threatened to shoot him. A good Samaritan scooped him up, and got him to the vet, however they cannot keep this sweet boy.
Finn is great with kids, cats and dogs. Despite everything he LOVES people and kids (never met a stranger). Finn is neutered and ready for his loving forever home, please share. πŸ’•

Mama Stewart's video is more of an "Action Video" Lol. Here she is enjoying playtime with her friends. Mama enjoys playing, and loves affection. But she doesn't like it when you reach down to pick her up. Even though she is
a bit skittish, she is still very affectionate and likes getting pets and love.πŸ’•
