Keep all of your eyes open, lost kitty in the May Valley area...
Melody, China, and Nick arrived here at the Cat Clinic of Issaquah in 2003, 1998, and 2000, respectively. I couldn't have done it without them! They've been fabulous, loyal employees for me, and they are migrating over to the new practice.
Puget Sound Consumers' Checkbook conducts a customer service poll on 210 Veterinary practices in the region, and thanks to these three, plus Sandie who continues to avoid COVID at home, we've had the highest ratings of all of those practices for the last couple of years. Huge thanks to all four of them. Bravo!!!
Well, we're meeting with a little resistance! LOL!
We can't begin to tell you all how much we appreciate all the kind words and well wishes! Thanks so much!
Dear friends and clients of the Cat Clinic of Issaquah:
It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my fast-approaching retirement. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity I've had to know all of you, and to care for your feline companions. I've always appreciated the trust you've placed in me and in my tremendous, faithful staff, and that you've allowed us to share in both your joys and sorrows.
I've practiced feline medicine in Issaquah for almost 30 years now. I am so fortunate to have worked with such a supportive clientele in a place that I love, within half a mile of my father's birthplace, and to have gotten to work with so many incredible pets and people over the years. There are many things that I will miss, not the least of which is feeling like a part of so many families and being trusted to care for so many cats. I've truly appreciated your support. It's been an honor to serve you.
I am very pleased to tell you that the new owners of my practice are Laura George, DVM, her husband, Nicholas George, PhD, and their Veterinary practice: Meadows Cat Hospital. Over the next few weeks, they will be merging and consolidating my practice into their newly expanded facility near QFC on Gilman Boulevard. Once the merge is complete, the combined practices will be known as the Cat Hospital of Issaquah. Our facility will be closing after business on April 15th.
You will find that Dr. George practices with compassion for both pets and their humans. She knows the importance of earning and keeping the trust of both her patients and their owners. You and your cats will be in good hands, and her hands come with a good heart.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support all these years. Stay safe, be well, and love your pets.
Happy trails!
Stephen A. Hill, DVM
PS: so Elvis is going to be leaving the building, after all...
Elvis is in the building! This Elvis had a broken pelvis two years ago thanks to a car, so he has no plans of ever leaving the building...🙂
Elvis Lives!
You can't be Pele and Messi without practicing your moves, and watching a lot of film!
Pele and Messi like to play soccer, and eat, and purr. They are two of the sweetest kittens EVER, and they're looking for a purrfect indoor forever-home together!
This very handsome Ragdoll is Apollo, and he is looking for a new home. He does have some special needs - he doesn't seem to tolerate canned food, children, or other pets, although the canned food is the only one of these that he actually eats! He really is a sweety with a sensitive stomach! If you're interested or have questions you may contact his owner at:
