KDF Show Horses had another great show this weekend. Congratulations to Matt Wengerd and High Kountry on placing top five in Kountry's first jumping classes, competing against horses with years of experience. Our second Congratulations goes out to Emma and Pocket on a great weekend. We are currently taking horses in for training and also have availability for lessons.

KDF Show Horses is happy to announce we now offer driving lessons now as well as riding lessons. This nice, loving, caring gelding is for sale. He not only can drive but ride English, Western and jump. This was the very first time for this driver and he did a great job babysitting.

Yesterday was a great day. I always new Appey was a special horse since I broke him to ride. Yesterday he proved he was even more special when he got the opportunity to demonstrate he can be a therapeutic horse for disabled individuals at the age of five.

Scariest place to be is exactly where you were yesterday. You can either complain or fix it. You can either sink or swim. You can either sit back and judge others for what they're doing or put yourself in situations to be successful. Life is already hard enough as it is without us purposely adding to it. It's gonna be hard to fail but it's also gonna be hard to succeed... so you choose your hard.

Anyone that knows me and my family we are always looking for ways to give back to the less fortunate. Every Monday night KDF Show Horses throughout the winter month goes and helps at a therapeutic riding center. Last night we were fortunate enough to work with kids on the parts of the horse.

This morning is bitter sweet. As I send off the first Thouroughbred I have broke out. He has taught me a lot about the breed along with the very basics of racing. What a great night... when less then two months you go from a horse no one could get on to a very solid horse that a child can ride. This is what its all about seeing the results from hard work and seeing a bright future for the young man.

Super proud of Rich Legacy... he came to us as an unbroke thouroughbred. We started him off slow and easy with ground work then introduced the saddle. Once he was good with the saddle we got on his back with a walk. Now in less then a month we have him moving out at a trot. Just imagine where we will be in another month.
