Hey Furry Friends! What a couple of weeks we have had! So a couple things we wanted to keep you in the loop on:

First, our phones are working! However, there is now call waiting, so if you don’t get through, please try again.

Also, the office will be CLOSED this Thursday, April 4th! We will be in the office until 7pm on Wednesday and back again Monday, April 8th!

One of the hardest things to see as a veterinary professional is the abuse and neglect of innocent animals at the hands of those who are trusted to care for them. 😔 This situation has impacted so many in the North Country, but to truly end this nightmare, more people need to share their experiences. Good afternoon fam! We have just received some news from our friends at Upstate Veterinary Specialties that we would like to pass on:
There is now an urgent care center at Upstate open daily from 10:00am to 8:00pm! Upstate is located in Latham, NY. Their urgent care offers many services, including but not limited to- vomiting, diarrhea, wounds, porcupine quills, eye and ear problems and end of life care! If we are not available, or you are experiencing an emergency, please contact UVS at 518-783-3198. They also have a 24 hour emergency center- but please call ahead to be triaged to the correct department! Thank you! 🐶🐱

Good Morning furry friends! If you have a canine companion, please be aware that there is a respiratory illness of unknown origin circulating in some areas! The recommendations generally seem to agree that vaccinating dogs for Bordetella, Para-Influenza and Influenza and keeping them away from public areas and other dogs is the safest approach. GOOD NEWS!! The clinic is unharmed by the recent flooding, so we will reopen tomorrow at 8:30! The driveway is in rough shape however, so please use caution when pulling in. The end of the driveway by the barn is closed for now. As always, thank you all for your kind words and continuous support!
