Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! 🦃
Would it be normal if we weren't working horses on a holiday?!
Check out Isac making some really nice progress with this cute 3 year old gelding. He's coming leaps and bounds since coming here. Now riding really well outside!

Sharing even though I look homeless to look back on. First time stepping on this filly's back, she did wonderful and surprised me so much! Here's to the start of big things coming!
What a blessing it is to build a bond with these animals and learn their language.
This gelding came to us because he needed some patience and understanding. Although he's only three, he's clearly been put through the ringer before his owner purchased him. The worst part is, this horse is as gentle as can be and only wants to do good. Whatever they did to him, had him so untrusting of people and very reactive. Isac spent the first 30 days just building his trust up, getting him to understand we aren't here to hurt him, and give him a job with purpose.
Tonight Isac was able to get on him and although it doesn't seem like a big deal, it surely is for this guy. He's learned that not all people are out to get him, and we can have a job without it being stressful.
This little guy is going to be one jam up horse. He's so athletic, kind, and wants to please. We can't wait to see where the next 30 days bring him. He'll have a big future ahead.
We can't wait for the arrival of this girls foal 🤤
Let's give you some back story on Shez Got Da Point aka Vanna.
For those of you that don't know, Vanna was the most accidentally purchase ever. I had gotten approval to bid in the Heritage Sale in hopes to find a stud colt prospect. Unfortunately, the colts I had picked out were going for high five figures, go figure with my expensive taste on a beer budget. I had ###xx amount of dollars in my savings set aside for a prospect that I told myself I would not spend more than that as this was going to be a resale prospect. So needless to say I started looking at some young ones and putting in bids. I was outbid on several but kept trying. This big slicked out filly came through the ring something just told me to bid on her. I bid twice and quickly was outbid, I figured okay well it looks like I'm not getting a prospect today. Then for a half second the word "PURCHASED" flashed across my screen. I thought to myself theres no way I was outbid. Going back through the history, I found I did in fact win the bid on the big sorrel filly. I quickly scrambled to find a hauler as I truly didn't believe I would get anything. The breeder sent me pics of her as she was in the stalls. She had the cutest little "staff" shape blaze and was all legs. When she arrived, I surely thought she was drugged because she was just so calm and well behaved. She in fact wasn't, she was just really kind. She wasn't broke or handled much but she took everything in stride. We did everything on her own time and took our time.
Here she is a year and a half later starting on the pattern. Shes got the most heart you will see and will try to do anything you ask. I can't believe she's blossomed into something so amazing as I had no expectations of her. Needless to say, she will not be resold and stay with us forever as we love her so much. We are so excited to see what she does in the futurities next year. We also bought her mom last year because that's how much we believe in this little filly.

A little behind the scenes. I'm so blessed to have a partner that shares this passion with me. Not only is he my number one supporter, he's always there to help with anything for the horses. He's becoming such a great rider, and has such a natural feel when working with horses. ♥️
