The Persian jirds got some new enrichment items today. They are loving the tunnels and took to them almost immediately. It’s been amazing watching this group grow up. Hopefully they will continue to add the Mousery during next breeding season.

Who remembers the huge toy haul earlier this month? How would you like to get those same products for your own critters? All were tested and approved by the Mousery residents!

Pictured are some items that I’m offering for pre-order. To place a pre order send me a private message with the items you’re interested in. I am planning on shipping Pre-orders August 26th.

Since this is just a trial with a few of the items that were shown I’m doing a pre-order system to start. If there’s enough interest then I may offer more items in the future, shipping as orders are received and looking into setting up an Etsy or a facebook shop. Please let me know your thoughts.

Keep in mind as these products are made from natural materials that exact appearance and size may very slightly.

I’m so excited to reach 1600 followers!! Thank you everyone!!! I know it’s not a lot compared to other accounts but for such a niche community I’m grateful. Next goal is 2000by the end of the year ☺️

I just got in a huge haul of new grass mats, hides, toys and other enrichment items for the residents of the Mousery. Meeting the needs of each individual species can be a challenge but also super rewarding. Anyone interested in video “tutorials” to see examples of how I keep these guys?

Cleaning day for one of the groups of bushy tail jirds. I enjoy watching these guys so much they are just so active. They certainly appreciate the space and the enrichment.

Cuteness overload with one of the baby Persian Jirds.

This mama has a surprise to announce although she’s not ready to let them go. First successful duprasi litter of 2024! Hopefully the first of many this year. These babies are so vital to continue breeding efforts for this uncommon species. For those that have been on my wait list for Duprasi. Please keep in mind that being on the wait list does not guarantee getting a little one from me. It just guarantees you will be contacted if there are little ones available. I’m not adding any more names to the waiting list and those who are on it thank you for your continued patience.
