The story goes like this. I started a TikTok page called . When I was in Tractor Supply, I did a quick video about dog food which received 400,00 views within 24hours! I had some "bot" comments that were saying to feed Science Diet and Purina and how good and healthy it was for your dog. This brought back all my vigor to let everyone know the truth. Sooooo,

I reopened a much smaller store in Columbus. Its called Brazos Pets,
1135 Fannin St Columbus, Tx 78934 786-405-9841. Its really strange not seeing any of my old customers, but, I'm building new relationships within the community. If anyone is ever in the area I would love to see you. I guess I cant stay away from animals

I thought it was important for everyone to know what it means to support a locally owned and operated business.

At any time from 2012 until present your support, at any given time has provided 5 to 8 jobs supporting their families, about 7 hours of employment at three different distributors per week (packing our orders for delivery etc).Your support also makes jobs at dog food manufacturing facilities, product manufacturing facilities and the trickle effect goes on and on. We all appreciate the support.

The one story I will never forget.

One rainy day in July of 2013 a man came in with a German Shepherd puppy approximately three to four months old. The puppy was covered in fire ants and was soaking wet. This man told me that his scumbag lowlife uncle was fighting dogs and they were using this dog as a bait dog. He also told me that his lowlife scumbag uncle had this puppy's nerve severed in the back near his hips so the puppy could not run. He asked if he could leave the puppy with us no questions asked because he did not want to get in trouble even though he insisted that he rescued it from his lowlife scumbag uncle. Without blinking I said absolutely. Thanks to my customers and their donations for the veterinary bill we did confirm that the puppies nerve was severed. However, the story has a happy ending. One of our customers built this puppy who we decided to name Tarzan, his own wheelchair. Terry Whitney (another customer of ours) helped place him in a home with a retired war hero. I will never forget Tarzan for as long and I live.

Farewell Message

On July 3rd 2010 with only a small amount of money, very good negotiating skills and a giant heart for animals, I opened my very first pet store. I did have another advantage which was being born into this business I already had the know-how and did not doubt my abilities at all. My mission from the beginning was to let everybody know what I knew about pets free of charge. From dogs to frogs I shined my passion as bright as I could to help everybody I could when they needed help with their pets. I have always been utterly flattered when anyone brought any pet of any kind into this store or made a purchase.
I sincerely thank all the customers that have supported us over the years that have allowed us to do what we love. It is an amazing thing that a customer would allow us to be part of their lives and see some of them as much as every other day for years and years. It has been the most painful decision of my life to close the doors permanently, and yet it had to be done. It has nothing to do with anything financial or anything to do with COVID but everything to do with my health and being closer to my family. I am emotionally sickened at the thought that there are some dogs that have been coming to see me for years that I will not be able to see anymore.
Thank you again to everyone it has been an honor to serve this community.

Our very last day open will be September 15th. I would absolutely love it if any of our customers would stop by to say goodbye with their pets. I will be here all day open to close.

As some of you may know there is a castle west of Katy about 40 minutes Drive. They are open for tours, and serve lunch as well as other exciting activities. The man who owns the castle is very passionate about his castle that he built by hand. He also has a love for Irish Wolfhound dogs. Recently while doing a tour he had a nine month old Irish Wolfhound puppy stolen. If anybody has any information about this puppy please contact them through their website above or us as well. There is a picture of him with his puppy attached to this post. This is not a usual dog that you would see everyday. They are enormous dogs but this one was very friendly and outgoing. Please help him find his dog he is very saddened by this theft.

Catching snakes again...

Hail No!

If anyone was planning to come up here I would hold off for just a little bit longer. This is the third time we have had hail at the store today.

If you would like curbside service, you can either call us ahead of time and we will take your credit card info over the phone or you can pay once you arrive, you can also call us when you get here and we will come out to take your order. We are definitely still open on the inside for walkins. We understand and respect any of our customers decision to prefer curbside. Either way we got you covered.

Despite current events, we still have plenty of stock.

Despite the onslaught of customers in the past two days we still have a decent amount of stock left. The only one we are running low on is the Valupak (black bag) 50lb, we have 5 left, so we are going to limit a one bag purchase on that particular one. However there are plenty of alternatives if we run out. as far as insects and rodents are concerned we also have plenty of those as well. However the super worms we are limiting to one 50 count cup. The reason for this is because we were limited on the amount of super worms that we could purchase as well. Other than that we are well-stocked almost everything else.
