Update on Banshee. She is doing great two weeks after the attack. She got her stitches out and the vet said it looked awesome! She just has one more hole to finish healing.

Make sure to pick your friends carefully. Poor Banshee got beat up on Monday evening by her so called friends and house mates. She was in pretty bad shock the first. She is good now, but it'll be a long recovery.

Our second litter arrived the 12th early in the morning. Four healthy pups. 2 boys and 2 girls.

Holly had five live,healthy pups. Three girls and two boys, all sable merles. Mom and babies ate doing great.

Banshee is due in 14 days from today. Her and Fletcher are first-time parents! We expect sables, sable merle, blue merles, and bi-blacks. Both are health tested through Wisdom Panel, and are clear.

This Sheltie Sunday we feature AKC Boo's Bad Medicine. He is a half brother to Banshee with them having the same father. He came to us from Michigan. The breeder was not aware of the merle rule and that is why he is a double merle. He is deaf and has limited sight but that doesn't stop him from being a loving and capable dog. He has a few quirks, but nothing that will be a genetic issue. He is a great teaching tool to help others learn the dangers of uninformed breeding.

This Sheltie Sunday is with our mahogany sable female AKC Christmas Eve Holly Berry. She was bred by us here at Heavenly Shelties. She was born on December 24 2021 to AKC Tara's Rimrock Red Willow & AKC Cucith Garmer Grimm. She is one of our expectant moms this January. She is painfully shy and has been since she was born. She loves to hang out on the couch with me and watch tv.

Sheltie Sunday features Banshee's Have A Nice Day. She is a CKC registered sable merle. she has a blue eye and a blue/brown eye. She is very vocal but also very loving. She came to Heavenly Shelties from Michigan with her half brother Boo's Bad Medicine. She is one of our expectant moms this January.

We have some good news here at Heavenly Shelties. We had two successful pairings and maybe a third one, So we should have puppies in the second week of January 2024!!

Pairs are
1. Banshee (Sable Merle) and Flethcer (Bi-Black CHW)
2. Holly (Mahogany Sable) and Boo (White)
and possibly
3. Willow (Sable) and Boo(White)

We will keep you updated on the moms to be.

It's Sheltie Sunday!! Here we have our girl from last week, Sheena, her sister Shaela on the left, and her housemate Pepsi on the right. Pepsi was a 4-H dog for five years, mother to five litters of puppies, then retired toa life of leisure. We lost her last year at the age of 16.
