Happy case alert!
Happy cat, happy doctor, happy nurses… you get the idea….
Charlie presented to us about a week ago in extreme pain, unable to use his hind legs.
Dr. Gregg Barnard quickly made the diagnosis of a Saddle thrombus - a VERY PAINFUL, catastrophic condition, most times resulting in euthanasia due to the pain and poor prognosis.
With some aggressive treatment and pet parents who wanted to give it a “go”, he is doing surprisingly well and we received this video of Charlie playing at home!!
Dr. Barnard was busy today - we don’t get the chance to check out many camels. This one complained a lot but did comply with showing his teeth and maybe even matching smiles in the end. 😍
Shake the white towel... 😍
And ... drumroll please ... the result of our morning “big belly” Corgi surgery!
Number 11 in the front was late to arrive (hiding out in the back) and VERY late to pink up with his siblings but is doing great now.
Still waiting... these 2 REALLY want to be someone’s babies! They are all ready to go! Neutered, vaccinated, and a clean bill of health! Noble County Humane Society has amazing adoption deals!!
Hey don’t let us have ALL the fun ... please please adopt one or both of these fun kittens!
We had some very special 'helpers' this morning in the clinic! Bella of course was our babysitter ❤️
These fur babies are available for adoption, so stop in the clinic sometime to meet these fluff balls!
Mr. Curiosity, our shelter foster, didn’t make it in the video because he was exploring (picture in comments) 😊
Here is one of the BEST things about fostering kittens for the Noble County Humane Society. Updates on happy, healthy, and well-loved ADULT cats!!
In her younger years Shadow was an agility star! And now her mom treats her to a ride to our office for bloodwork and a ramp to make getting into her car bed more comfortable!
Don’t you wish you felt this good 24 hours after major abdominal surgery?? I couldn’t get Stella to hold still long enough for a “good” picture so here is a “headed for home” video.... and a shot of her tummy treasures which include band aids, twistie ties, unidentifiable nylon / plastic material, coated wire, ...??
Sibling rivalry ... big sister is a bit of a bully to Mr. Puny Brother. These fun babies are ready for adoption! We are fostering them for the Noble County Humane Society.
