Easter bunnies have all the fun. Well, maybe not. I learned today that many bunnies given to children for easter don't have much to live for. Some are eaten! Some starve to death or live in squalor. Please don't give a bunny as a gift unless the person receiving knows the responsibility that comes with a commitment for life. Puppies, kitties, bunnies, even chicks are not toys that can be put away in a box when everyone is done playing with us. Pets are family members and all kinds of us come with years of love ready to give. Just be sure we'll get love back for our whole lifetime before giving or recieveing us as a gift.

Copying a post for a lost loved one. We lost a beautiful soul recently. Jesse's precious Ariadne has crossed the rainbow bridge, and I'm sure Daedalus met her with a smile on the other side. Hello everyone. Thats me! Icarus! There in the profile picture. My big brother is there too. His name is Dresden. I am the little one on the left. I was to smol to beat an upper respitory infection a few weeks ago. My becoming an angel has inspired my humans to start a page were every kitten can get a post to find a good home. I suppose puppies need homes to so they can post here as well. I only ask that you be kind, post a picture of yourself (yes puppy or kitty picture) and a bit of description as to what kind you are and where you'd like to live. The humans will do the rest.
