We need to clear an entire dog ward ASAP! Essential maintenance to the floors in the dog ward at our Kenosha Campus is happening next week, which means we need to move out all the dogs in those kennels before then! No matter which WHS campus you can adopt or foster from, we'd be so grateful for your help. There are lots of incredible dogs and puppies who would love to stay with you, either as a temporary house guest or as your newest family member!

To answer the most common foster questions we receive:
- Dogs may be in need of foster care to recuperate from an illness or injury in a home environment, for behavior observation, or simply to open up another space at the shelter for the next animal in need.
- No, you don't need a lot of space in your home.
- Yes, you can definitely foster if you have children.
- Yes, you get to select which animal to bring home from our list of those in need of foster care.
- And yes, you can become a foster parent if you already have pets!
- No experience necessary; WHS will provide supplies, instructions, and buckets of gratitude!
