Seeking a front desk receptionist/assistant at a fun and fast paced pet supply store & grooming salon in Kenosha, WI.

Summer is right around the corner and school is about to be out. This would be a great job for someone 16 yrs of age or older. This would also be a great introductory position into costumer service and reception for someone in high school or just freshly graduated.

Main responsibilities include: checking clients in and out, cash handling, inventory, answering phones, scheduling, and a fair amount of cleaning. Assisting the grooming staff from time to time with various tasks.
Retail and/or receptionist experience preferred but not required. Must be computer literate. Must be able to lift 30-40lbs. MUST be comfortable with and around animals.

We are looking for someone to be punctual, outgoing and have excellent people and phone skills. The ideal candidate should have good customer service skills and be creative and self motivated, be outgoing, friendly and not afraid to talk with people or handle dogs.

You will be working in a fun, flexible, family owned business. Minimum
20-30 hrs a week. Wages based upon knowledge and experience.

We think all of our dogs deserve to be on the nice list!

As we all know, the holidays are always the busiest and craziest time of year!
At this point, we are fully booked through Christmas for full haircut and bathing appointments even with all 9 of us in the salon!

Our number one priority is to create a safe and positive environment, no matter how busy we are. But a rushed groomer is a dangerous groomer. With that being said, we ask that our clients offer a little more patience than usual.

Although we normally try to give an approximate time for your pickup, all appointments will be a Strict On-Call Basis. We will give a 15 minute phone call as we are finishing the final touches to make your pet look their best and enjoy their visit from start to finish!

As always, we appreciate everyone's support and understanding to help ensure the safety and quality of care we strive for every day of the year.

This year is also a little more special.
To show our love and gratitude for our girls and all of the extra hard work they put in for the holiday season, we will be closed the ENTIRE week after Christmas!

CLOSED: December 24th-January 1st.

We will be ready for the New Year and resume regular business hours Wednesday January 2nd @ 8:00 am.

We are very excited to announce that, with the addition of two new amazing people, we will finally be able to accept new clients!

For right now, new clients will be limited to bath clients excluding full body haircuts.

We will be accepting Full Groom (haircut) clients after the first of the year.

This summer has been unusually hot and these next couple of days are going to be even hotter!

Please be sure to take all precautions for your pet.

We will also be taking every precaution to ensure your pet’s safety during these next couple days.

If you have an appointment scheduled and decide to cancel on Wednesday we will be understanding and reschedule your appointment with no reschedule fee.

We will be keeping an eye on our inside temperature as the dryers and humidity can increase the temperature. If the inside temperature does go above 80, even with air conditioning, we will close down for you pets safety as they are much more sensitive to heat than humans.

We will also be offering back door drop off and check in by pulling up right to the door so your pet’s feet don’t get too hot on the asphalt.

Safety and comfort are our number one goal and we will do everything we can.

This will be limited to existing clientele due to our capacity.

Our 8th Christmas Season was a huge success! We were so graciously spoiled by our clients this year.

We are always so grateful for your love and support.

We will be giving our amazing staff a much deserved break and will be closed from Saturday Dec 24th through Tuesday Dec 27th.
During that time, we will be doing our biannual deep sanitizing and cleaning of the salon to provide your pets the safest and cleanest environment.

We will resume normal business hours Wednesday December 28th at 8 a.m.
