This sweet girl was found today in Lacey State Park. Although she looks so familiar, we cannot quite figure out who her owner is. A microchip was not found. If she is yours, please know that she is safe warm at the clinic here. Looking for good homes!!
One dog, and 4 cats.
Bozo the dog is 5.5 years old.
4.5 year old Simon a Siamese cat.
1.5 year old yellow cat Buttercup.
The other two are one female and one male around 2 years old.
All of them are spayed/neutered and will be updated on vaccines before they are moved to a new home.
The original owner is moving and unfortunately can not take them with her.

Setting outside tonight and thinking after a long afternoon.. life has changed a lot for everyone the past 7 months.

I kept having people ask me: “Are you going to come back to cutting hair after baby?”

For the longest time I didn’t know how to answer.. and after much thought I decided I WANT to. When the time is right.

Even days like today where I have a full afternoon- it’s so hard for me to function by the end of the day. Grooming is NOT as easy as everyone thinks it is. Even before I was pregnant it was difficult after a full day. It’s bending, standing, twisting in circles, and lifting weight way above most people’s norm.

My state license for grooming will expire in August... in a perfect world I would love to come back at the beginning of 2021.

I love to cut hair, most of the time😉, and it’s not something I want to give up on.

No matter what happens, since getting licensed and moving to Keosauqua I have met some AMAZING new furry friends and owners. ❤️

I’ll keep taking appointments and trying to squeeze everyone in before my license expires. 🙂

My grooming schedule had a cancellation at 1:30 on June 2nd, if anyone needs scheduled.

Otherwise last openings in June are on the 18th and 1 on the 25th.

I’m back to grooming by appointment!!

State recommendations are for curb side- meaning I will meet you outside the salon, when you arrive. This is to help with social distancing, for everyone’s safety. If you are sick, please let me know and we will reschedule the appointment!!

Due to the virus outbreak, and my pregnancy I unfortunately will no longer be taking new clients at this time.

If your someone I see already, and need an appointment feel free to text/message me. Please understand, with being closed for 3 weeks, I had 3 weeks of appointments to reschedule already. ☹️

As of 6:00 tonight I will be closing the salon until further notice. With the problem at hand I would feel better playing it safe, for everyone.

I’ve done my best to accommodate to schedules and squeeze everyone in this week.

Until the state decides to close “non essential business”, I will continue cutting hair.

Sanitation gets done after every appointment that comes into the salon, for your dog & other clients.

However, if you are sick- please stay home! Shoot me a message/text or call me to cancel the appointment.

Due to my pregnancy, my schedule will be cut way down. Appointments will be Tuesday afternoons & Thursday mornings. I’ll still do my best to accommodate to everyone, but PLEASE message me a couple weeks before. I already have appointments scheduled into June.

Any questions/concerns let me know. It’s nothing personal, only so much I can do at this point. 🙁
