A tired dog is a good dog!

Walking your dog will also create less anxiety and keep their mind stimulated and their body exercised! Great for mind and body.

The Girl Behind The Leash

Who is the Girl Behind the Leash? My name is Heather. A New Jersey native living in Monmouth County since birth. Since childhood, I have been a care taker. Losing my mother at a young age, I found myself to be instrumental in the upbringing of my younger sister. In addition I later took on the responsibility of taking care of my grandmother and currently still am, and it is nothing short of a blessing to still have her. Amongst my own personal responsibilities to take care of and look after, I furthered my "natural ability" of care taking to make a career move. Over the past six years I have had the rewarding opportunity to work with some truly amazing children with Autism and the progress, social skills and confidence I've seen them gain through my work is exactly what I gained in return from them. However, though I love what I do and as rewarding as it was I still felt there was something missing, a burning passion to work with something else dear to my heart, Animals. I have always had a great passion and love for all animals. Growing up it was a rare day I didn't bring home multiple stray animals tin attempts to save or find homes for them or just to feed the stray cats and dogs. So when and how could I incorporate my love of animals into my every day adult life? How can I make a difference now? I couldn't keep bringing home strays (although I still try but with 3 dogs my boyfriend draws the line, hahaha). It came to me in the most unexpected of ways as most great ideas do. Well we, like many, love to travel... A LOT, but often found ourselves before and during vacation worrying about the care taking of our three babies. It's always so hard to think about leaving and enjoying a hard earned trip while trying to figure out what to do with them, who will watch them for us and are they giving them all the love and attention that they deserve? Then, it clicked! That's what I want to do! I want to give people peace of mind when they go away knowing their pets will be treated the same way they get treated in the comfort of their own home everyday. I know that some boarding facilities are good and I most certainly do not doubt that there are upstanding ones out there, however what I offer provides your pet to not be crated most of the day in a strange place. I also provide your pet with 101% of the attention you give them at home, it's not just a walk, clean-up and check-in, it's a dinner-date, it's a back rub, it's a treat, it's a belly scratch, it's time with a four-legged friend(s) letting them know they're loved. But let's face it, even when you're not on vacation you don't always have the time to walk them everyday. This is why I've now added "Any Day Dog Walking". Daily dog walking is beneficial for your pet in that it helps them socialize and gives them the proper exercise that is required for their size and breed. Every day I wake up loving my job and what I do! I'm so proud to have build and grown this business and have a wonderful team helping me along the way! But I'm not stopping there, in summer 2018 I will be attending dog training school to become a certified Animal Behaviorist and Dog Trainer. My overall goal is to work with rescues and help with any behavioral issues they have. I donate to many wildlife organizations and am building and leading a team in the 2018 Bark for Life Charity Walk. So, if you want to learn more or have any questions about any of the services I offer, please always feel free to reach out to me anytime...I don't bite :-)
