Kayce is going to be a facility therapy, dog for a busy psychotherapy practice. He is doing amazing on his ability to ignore all distractions, going busy on command,  and his amazing temperament around people, children and other dogs . So today we are in a pet friendly department store working on some distraction training and socialization with many people greeting him  as he maintains self control .

These two little five month old toy poodles are on the way for their training session. Also learning the come command and off leash training. They did amazing!

So this family wanted this yellow Labrador retriever to swim in the pool. It took some coaching to get her in along with the help of ambassador dog, chocolate labrador retriever. Xena coaching her she was a natural.  and of course I was back the next week teaching her to only go in with permission. All good now!

Today with my assistant trainer, Emma, we are working with these two beautiful Labradoodles on obedience, training, and impulse control, with other dogs entering and exiting the store, they both were able to focus on the task at hand. Good job Kaia and Ollie!

This is Bruno after our first training session. Bruno did very well learning new behaviors but by the end of our session he was exhausted! 💤

This little cutie is Lilly. Today Lilly was a little out of her normal comfort zone being off leash with several other dogs who varied in size. Well she aced it! Good job Lilly!👍🐾

Meet this beautiful American bulldog puppy Charlotte. She is so sweet, gentle and very easy to train. she is doing very well with all common commands/ verbal cues and walking very nicely on a leash. Next week we move on to more socialization with people and other dogs! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This doberman is Bessie, she has been doing very well in her training. Today we worked on jumping up in the new navigator, counter surfing, the cue to leave it ( as shown with the treat on her paw) and some nice leash walking. Good job Bessie!

So the fireworks 💥 are heavy tonight regardless of the weather. My beautiful Labrador Peyton finally fell
asleep on the bathroom floor, her place of choice during fireworks. Not without the help of Sileo noise aversion gel, a pair of impact noise reduction headphones to block out the noise and Some nature music. Also taking her out only on a leash in our fenced in yard and a GPS tracker on her collar for safety reasons. Some dogs will run away when startled by loud noises such as fireworks. As an added reminder many people got new dogs during the pandemic and some dogs are terrified of fireworks.
