Oak Ridge TN AKC Scent trial September!

ORKC Scent Work News

Scent Work Trial - We are excited to announce that we are hosting our first AKC Scent Work trial on Sept 14-15, 2024. The trial will be held at the ORKC training facility. All levels of Containers and Buried will be offered. Premium to come.

If you are interested in being part of our inaugural Scent Work trial, we are seeking Trial Committee members and volunteers to help during the trial and fundraising events. Please email Susan Varrasso at [email protected] if interested.

Sniff & Go - Our first Sniff & Go fundraising event will be at the ORKC training facility on May 11th. A Sniff & Go is similar to a run-through and provides an opportunity to get some practice searches where the trial will be held. We will offer all levels of Containers and Buried. All money raised from the event will go towards supplies, ribbons, and various expenses for the fall trial. Sign up information coming soon!

Our Scent Work program is growing. We are adding a new Competition class this session for teams currently trialing in the Advanced level or higher. Check out our website for the current class schedule and class descriptions.
