Simba, a LexLin Gypsy Vanner has been working to his full potential. We are so thankful for Simba. He continues to be adored by all. This year, he was a special favorite of one of our older patients, a gentlemen with Huntington’s Disease. Simba took wonderful care of him. Simba is sturdy and balanced as well as gentle to provide the treatment that can impact function in others. We are blessed by your generosity and for all that you do. We hope you can come to visit soon!
And We love Chloe! She has continued to learn and grow, and we were happy to begin using her for patient sessions this summer. Thank you again for allowing this lovely mare to be a member of our therapy team, we are so grateful!

South Doyle High School Madrigal singers came to visit the Villa Collina. This great group of kids and their fearless leader, Cody Boling (in green), travels our community spreading Christmas joy all over Knox County. Ring in the New Year in Style!
Summit Equestrian Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana teamed up with MindCAP to combine cognitive coaching with equine therapy. MindCAP uses cognitive puzzles and problem-solving methods to help clients become better critical thinkers and work through issues like attention deficit disorder, age-related cognitive decline, autism spectrum disorder, brain injuries, giftedness or spina bifida.
Summit Equestrian Center's motto is “People, Horses, Hope” and works with children, teens, adults and veterans. “Equine therapy can be effective when working through issues from anxiety to post-traumatic stress disorder and more,” Allison Wheaton, executive director of Summit Equestrian Center said.
Students ranging from age 6 to 15, participated in a parade after they spent several hours working with the horses and dressing them up. LexLin’s Gypsy Vanner, Iris, looks like a super hero and is certainly valued for her beauty and gentle demeanor. We are so proud of the work Iris is doing and support Summit Equestrian Center’s mission of helping others.
What a great day of team building! It's always nice to step outside the office and enjoy each other's company.
Our day involved lunch, bowling, and the escape room. You can see all three groups made it out on time! Well-done you guys!
