This little girl’s home ended up falling through, so she is now available.

Based is confident and outgoing and LOVES everyone she meets. She’s very agile and has a great working drive, so she would be better with a family that is more “on the go” to keep her busy.

She’s also a VERY pretty girl so ideally we would like her to go to a show home that would show her or someone close by willing to allow us to show her locally.

UPDATE: Bo has found a home that is local! Thank you everyone for your interest and for sharing!

Rare opportunity!

We have an 18 month old Swissy male looking for a new home. Bo was returned because his owner’s girlfriend moved in and her asthma was too bad to keep him. They tried everything, but to no avail. We have had him for a couple months and in this time he attained his AKC Championship. He is approximately 115 lbs. Bo is house broken and well-trained. Bo has been around cats, other dogs, and older children. I have not experienced him around young children so I am not sure if he would be good with them as he is VERY happy and could accidentally knock a small child over with his happiness.

This is not a rescue situation…. His price is going to be the same as a puppy because you get to skip house breaking 😜. I would also prefer his new home to keep him in tact to potentially use him as a stud in the future since his is a champion! This can be discussed more in depth if you are interested.

UPDATE: Riggs has found a home! Thank you everyone for spreading the word so we could find the perfect family for him.

We have a 14 week old Male Swissy available that we are looking for a particular type of home for. “Rigatoni” aka “Riggs” is a little on the shy side at first until he gets to know you. We want him to go to a home that owns another, confident dog (preferably a swissy, but that is not a must). He is also beautiful, so we would like him to go to a home willing to show him or allow us to show him. He’s a little nervous around younger kids, but he gets used to them. I dealt I think children over 5 years old would be best. He has been around cats as well.

At times he will try to “guard” his food bowl from other dogs, but has no issues with people sticking their hands in or taking food away from him, so he needs someone willing to correct him and tell him to knock it off if he does this to another dog and then he is fine (for a while until he decides it’s time to test the boundaries again).

He has a great foundation to housebreaking already and was in professional training for 2 weeks so that he would be ready for his new home. He knows “place”, “sit”, and “come” already.

He comes from health tested parents that are OFA Good hips, normal elbows, normal shoulders, normal eyes, and AKC champions.

Happy 7th Birthday Dezzy! How in the world can you be 7 today?!?!?! Dezzy celebrated his birthday a day early yesterday by winning two different distinctions at APA Championship that he has never won there before: Most Weight Pulled and Dog of the Year 71 lbs & Over. Not bad for his age at all. 😜 Oh and he also ate 2 socks too…. One that he threw up and another that came out the other end the morning of Championships 🤣🤣🤣

PSA with a cute picture. I wanted to share a tip for anyone who might be looking for a puppy of any breed. If the breeder you decide to go with let's you pick your puppy without giving you choices, let's you choose based off of looks or color, let's you pick before puppies are an appropriate age (for me this means 8 weeks, it might vary but it should never be before 5 weeks), let's you pick because a puppy "chose you" that one time you visited, doesn't expound beyond "such a sweet cuddly lovable baby" when telling you about a puppies temperament, etc I advise that you move on and pick a different breeder. I get messages all the time asking if a specific puppy in a photograph is available. Let me ask you this, what if that puppy has a temperament that is all wrong for your family? What if that puppy is shy and soft and your household is chaotic and busy? What if that puppy is bossy and independent and you are softer and not overly confident in your training skills? This is one of the reasons why so many teenage puppies end up needing to be rehomed or end up in shelters. Breeders irresponsibly allow puppy families to pick their puppy without knowing if the temperament they are bringing home will fit and thrive. A responsible breeder will require an application and conversation. They'll get to know you and your household. BE HONEST as you fill these out and discuss. Tell your breeder everything you can so that they know to the best of their knowledge what kind of canine personality will fit the best in your home. Responsible breeders and responsible owners work together to set humans and dogs up for success. Keep in mind that photos on social media are for fun. Some puppies are more photogenic than others and some might not be into the photo shoot on any given day. Enjoy the photos for what they are. Come visit if you can. If you are looking for a puppy, find a breeder who places puppies by temperament and not aesthetics. Be honest about what your home and lifestyle are like so that the breeder can make educated choices. And then enjoy your picked just for you puppy. 😊

💼 Responsibilities of a Puppy Raiser:
Your role as a puppy raiser will involve:

This little girl’s home couldn’t convince all family members it was time to get another swissy like they had hoped, so she is now available.

Based on her temperament test she is a bold girl with no fear. She LOVES children. She’s a little bit more busy and would be better with a family that is active.

She’s also a VERY pretty girl so ideally we would like her to go to a show home that would show her or someone close by willing to allow us to show her locally.

This guy’s new home decided they aren’t ready for a puppy until next year. HIs temperament test showed that he is very laid back so probably not the best fit for an “on the go” family. He is super cuddly and loves everyone he meets. He’s a tad stubborn so also probably best with someone with swissy experience or at least large breed dog experience.

We would prefer he went to a home that would allow him to be shown if he turns out. If interested please send a private message.

“On a mission to be, What I'm destined to be”… Dezzy got his name because Dez Bryant is one of Tony Collins and my favorite Dallas Cowboys players…. Izzy was my first swissy and he got us started in weight pulling; he is Dezzy’s grandfather. We combined their names and got “Dezzy”.

Lamara and Deion had a great week last week in Doswell, VA. Deion picked up 4 points towards his AKC Championship title and Lamara is now just 6 points away from her Bronze Grand Champion title.

To top it off, Ngata’s offspring Sully and Oz won Best of Breed 3 out of 5 days! (Ngata x Bella bred by Simply Swissies). Huge congrats to their owner handlers!
