Ragnarok Kennels supports the pride and integrity of the German Shepherd Dog. Temperament, structure, health, and versatility are all very important to us.

Ragnarok Kennels is family owned and operated. Our family has owned and worked with German Shepherds for 30 years. After the loss of the family dog in 2007 we decided to do even more in depth research about the breed and bloodlines. With the discovery of the showline German Shepherd we knew we had found what we were looking for. German conformation shows and schutzhund became part of our daily liv

es as well as AKC shows and events. We established our kennel name in 2010. We work closely with the best breeders and trainers in the USA, Canada, and Germany. All of our dogs have their hips and elbows certified by the German SV or the OFA. Our dogs also all have their CGC title from the AKC. We believe all of our dogs should be good citizens, regardless of their work.

Einar von Ragnarok 7 weeks next Monday. First trip outside. Did very well. Gunshots all around, as it's that time of year for deer, didn't care.

German Shepherd Male found November in Red Haw State Park Chariton Iowa. December 10 2022. I was asked today if he is from our kennel and he isn't. Looking for owner or breeder. No microchip located to date. No tattoo. Approximately two years old. If you have information please let me know.

Took Lex to Knoxville living windows tonight. A wee bit cold. Lex got lot's of love. Cookies, hot chocolate, soups, hot dogs, horse drawn carriage rides, singing and more. It was fun. Lex was so very good with the kids.

We are very proud to announce 4x V1 3x Regional Sieger Lex du val d'Anzin awarded under three different judges. Thanks again to Mike Williams and Heike Muller-Hamann for starting the process that resulted in Lex becoming our big guy. Today Bryant and Lex were awarded Regional Sieger V1 under UScA judge Richard Shook, who gave an excellent pointed critique. Thanks to Laura Schmidtke and to David Kistler for training and titling Lex prior to him joining us here in the USA. To my husband Bryant who will drive 2,800 miles to get Lex into this show at the PNW Regional Conformation show. Thanks to Treasure Valley Working Dog Club for the show and hospitality shown to Bryant. Thanks to Brandon for handling Lex today. Getting ready for next weekends really big Sieger Show. Bryant does a great job with Lex. Thanks to our IGP club mates @ Iowa Hundesport Club and Joel Strandburg for the video today. Joel Congratulations on your Kaba's V1 too!
