Light your candle for at least 2 hours during the first use

To obtain a uniform combustion, it is recommended to burn your candle for about 2 hours, until the top layer of wax is liquid and flat. This will also prevent the candle from hollowing out and the wick from burning too quickly.

Regularly maintain the wick

Regular wick maintenance is a crucial step in prolonging the burn time of your candle. A quick check before each use is preferable.

When the wick is too long, the flame will be larger, which will result in a faster consumption of wax and, therefore, a shorter burn time. The ideal size is about 5 to 7mm relative to the surface of the wax. Recentering your wick will also guarantee a benefit in the lifespan of the candle
