Eight year old Lawson LOVES DOGS so much he decided to sponsor Hope's adoption with money he earn mowing this summer. Lawson paid Hope's adoption fee and bought her toys, a bed and other fun stuff to take to her new home.
Hope is 5 years old, has been at the shelter for two years. She knows basic commands and is housebroken. Hope is great with people and older children, not great with other pets.
Hope MUST be the only pet in her new home.(Lawson can't adopt her because he already has a rescue pittie at home).

We are proud to announce the completion of our Florida Animal Friends grant with this video showing the release of the last 2 kitties. With this grant, we spayed/neutered a total of 308 cats from 46 locations within the LaBelle city limits. We could not be more grateful for the community, staff, Board of Directors, our veterinarians, Julianne McDonough, VMD, Chase Seyer, DVM, and Cheryl Bauchert, DVM, and last but not least the Florida Animal Friends who help make this project possible. The reason we do what we do is simple: a month ago, Kaplin was heartlessly abandoned at our shelter on a scorching June afternoon. Little did she know that her journey to happiness was about to begin. At first, she was unable to move and seemed completely helpless. However, after only a month of tender care and affection, she's now joyfully exploring her new home, filled with love. We are truly proud to say that happily ever after starts with Caloosa Humane Society.

Hey, just a friendly reminder about the Fourth of July! While it's super fun for us, it can be pretty scary and dangerous for our furry friends. The loud fireworks and all the excitement can spook them and make them run off. Also, some of the holiday snacks we love to munch on are not good for pets. With the hot weather and all the travel, it's important to keep a close eye on our pets. Plus, there's a risk of leftover debris from the celebrations that pets can get into.
