It's official! Sweet Izzy has been adopted. She has a wonderful mom and new little dog sister.
We have many more wonderful dogs waiting for furever homes. Please adopt. Shelters are over capacity and really need help.

Yes!!The husky found a foster!!!He got his freedom ride just now!!!Thank you Alex!!!!!He is enjoying playing with her dog & a big fenced in yard!!! More to come!!!

URGENT PLEA! HUSKY LOVER'S PLEASE READ!The Lago Vista Police Department, Animal Control Officer has reached out to us for help for this handsome, young, male Husky! For 3 MONTHS! now he is being housed in a small kennel at the Police Station. The kennels are for holding a dog until a owner can come forward. They are not runs, they are not made for long term use. We need to find him a foster or home ASAP! We will cover his neuter, shots, microchip! If you foster we will provide food & cover his training! If you have some TLC, a secure fenced yard please call us at (512)267-6876. This dog is in this situation due to no fault of his own. He holds it to go potty so the likely hood he is housebroken is good!

Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions is a non-profit 501c(3), no-kill pet rescue center dedicated to preventing animal suffering, rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned dogs and cats, and finding homes for these animals. 5 puppies still waiting for their Lifelong homes! All vaccinated, wormed, microchipped! Will cover spay/neuter when old enough. Sweet temperaments, crazy about water! Mother was abandoned locally pregnant and is on site! Consider fostering they need to know what it's like to live in a loving home! We cover all vet expenses & food for our fosters. We do ask that you have a secure fence for dogs and are welling to crate train. It's Foster Friday! Add some fun to your summer. These puppies would really benefit from being in a home. They were born in the shelter and are still looking for families. They are about 5 months old with great dispositions. Help! If you can! We currently have 5 hound puppies & 25 adult dogs. We are in need of a particular puppy food, if we use anything different it upsets their tummy. Our senior dogs receive pate wet food no particular brand to supplement their diets. And all the dogs get large plain milk bones! Any help is much appreciated.

Tongue out Tuesday! It's Bandit! He is definitely one of a kind. Corgi /Heeler mix is our best guess. He's about 25lbs and just over a year old. He's neutered and up to date on shots.
He loves ball time and friendly with dogs his own size. He was born in an industrial park and saved by Lifelong Friends with his mother and siblings. Unfortunately , they are all still at the shelter waiting for homes. Bandit is initially a little shy, but warms up once he's comfortable. He would benefit from a foster home to learn about the world outside the shelter. Call (512) 267-6876 for more information about this special boy!

Meet Moose
Moose is a male Rottweiler mix. He does have a long tail. He was abandoned at our rescue tied to a tree. Moose is very sweet, loves people! He does need to be leash trained. He is a little over a year old and would love to have a family.

It's FOSTER FRIDAY! We have so many wonderful dogs who would love a summer vacation! They would be so happy to spend some time out of the shelter. JT is just one of many who would be a great houseguest.

Tongue out Tuesday! Izzy may be a Chocolate lab/Border Collie mix,. She arrived at the shelter a few years ago with her puppies. Sadly no one has ever come for Izzy. She is still waiting for a family.
She loves people and gets along with other dogs. She is housebroken and does well in a crate. Weighs approximately 50 pounds. If you're looking for a calm, gentle, lower maintenance girl please consider fostering or adopting Izzy. She's been waiting way too long for someone to notice her.

We can't believe it! No applications on these sweet puppies! Born on Superbowl Sunday and ready for homes. They are about 30lbs and will likely be 50 to 60lbs full grown. 2 girls and 3 boys. Great dispositions. Please don't let them grow up in the shelter. www.lagovistapaws.org for applications.

Tongue out Tuesday! Meet Molly. All her brothers and sisters got adopted. This sweet girl is still living at the shelter wondering why no one picks her? She is about a year old, 70lbs , dog friendly and very sweet. She would love to have an energetic family to help her explore life outside the shelter.

Austin wonders why he has no adoption applications? He's such a good boy. About 2 hrs old, 60lbs and has gotten along well with the other dogs at events.

Izzy had a great time at the Lucky Rabbit. No one got adopted , but they enjoyed the fun and sun till it got too hot.
