Missing dog!!! Last seen on 8/3 in Lacassine, on community center Rd, next to the community center. Her name is Freya, but she does answer to her human siblings nickname of Piggy Wiggy. Please if you have any information on the whereabouts of this pupper, pm us. There was a party help across the street from the owners home the night she went missing.

Duke is still looking for his home!! I just don't understand how he keeps getting over looked!! He has been with us over 2 years and he is a bomb proof dog!! He is good with dogs, kids, and cats!! He is house and kennel trained and does well on a leash!! Help us get Dukes face out there by sharing this post!! He is the sweetest little chunky boy, and he deserves a home of his own!! Meet Scarlett. This sweet girl was seen being thrown out of a moving vehicle!!!! We just couldn't say no to Scarlett, she is still the sweetest little puppy. We originally thought her leg was broken from the incident, but we have since found out she has radial nerve paralysis. She is extremely emaciated, and full of hooks. She is estimated to be about 5 months old. She will need physical therapy for the next couple of months to see if it is improving. If it doesn't improve we will have to amputate her leg. We will keep you posted on her progress! We can't do this with your help!! Everything helps, and no amount is too small. If you can't donate, please share in hopes it reaches someone that can!! Thank you all for the continued love and support you continue to show for our puppers!!

Hey guys!! We know we haven't been very active here lately, but that doesn't mean we don't still have pups in need of help!! We recently took in a puppy that was thrown from a vehicle, (we'll make a seperate post on Scarlett) and today Buddy had to go back into the vet due to a skin infection! This guy just cant win lately, heartworm and hookworm, now the skin!! Buddy is also still in need of a foster where he can hang out and learn how to just be a dog!! He really is the sweetest boy around!! We are really struggling keeping up with vet bills! If you can't donate please share!! This sweet little fig thief is looking is looking to steal your heart, and find a home of his own!! Buddy is a very loving, smart and eager to learn/please pup. He was not given the best start to life, as you can see from the scars that cover his body, but that has not stopped him from loving life!! Buddy just went through heartworm treatment, he is kennel and house trained. Buddy loves people of all sizes, and needs slow introductions with new dogs. He is not a fan of cats. Buddy comes up to date on all of his vaccines and preventions. Shoot us a message if you are interested in meeting Buddy, or any of our available dogs.

A few days ago we said good bye to sweet Gigi. This sweet little girl got to spend her last few years being absolutely spoiled!! Her mom was originally her foster, but very quickly fell in love and adopted her. She knew they wouldn't have long together, but it didn't stop her from loving her completely. Our hearts go out to you Anita, thank you for taking such good care of the girls!! Rest easy Gigi 🌈

Buddy went in for his 2nd and 3rd heartworm shots yesterday. So on Wed we took him for a little adventure!! He loved it!! We can't wait for his treatment to be over so he can go on all the adventures!! Buddy is currently boarding while he goes through his treatment, but he would love a nice quiet home that he can recover in!! If you have a little space you could spare, Buddy is the sweetest boy and would love to hangout with you!! Buddy loves treats and is very smart and eager to learn!! He is good with dogs as long as there are slow introductions! He is not a fan of cats, or pigs, and we're guessing chickens are out too! Can't foster or adopt, but still want to help? This year has been tough for us, between dogs being returned, and adoptions and donations at an all time low we are struggling to stay afloat! No donation is too small, we truly appreciate all of your continued love and support!!

Buddy starts his heartworm treatment on Monday, and he needs a foster, or even better a home to call his own!!!! Buddy is about a year old and 55lbs. He has not had a very nice start to life, as you can see from the scars that cover his body. He has a little limp, but that doesn't slow him down he just has a little hop here and there. Buddy needs slow introductions with new dogs, and is not a fan of cats. Buddy loves to greet you with a toy in his mouth, and loves cuddles. He is also very food motivated, which is good because he needs a little training! If you would like to meet Buddy he will be at our adoption event this Saturday at Lake Area Adventures from 12-4

Just look at those ears?!! Meet Bryce our newest member of the Do Good Krewe!! Weighing in at 19.5 lbs this sweet little girl is about 5 months old! She shouldn't get too much bigger. Bryce is up to date on all her shots and hw prevention. She has a spay appointment in a months time. She has been doing great with other dogs, her current foster just happens to work Black Bayou Boarding - Boarding Daycare Grooming Bus so she has been spending her days making friends at daycare!! She is snuggly, sweet, and sooo stinking cute!! If you'd like any more information or to meet Bryce, shoot us a message!! Barkley is a 2 1/2 year old terrier mix She is absolutely the sweetest girl you’ll know! She loves her some attention and kisses, She loves hugs and for you to hold her like a baby rubbing her tummy☺️🤣 Barkley can be outgoing, ready to play in the yard or ready to go on a small walk, she also can be a lazy inside dog, she does not mind taking naps all day either haha. She loves her some toys to keep her company.
Barkley is great with other dogs and cats! Barkley prefers to not be left completely alone. Barkley was adopted than returned due to a heartbreaking story of her collage owner. She definitely can use someone caring and understanding!

Buddy hasn't had the best start in life, he just happened to get lucky when he was dumped near one of our fosters home. When Buddy was found he was very scared and from first glance he was covered in scars, limping, and emaciated. He finally trusted enough to let me come to him and as soon as I got close to him he immediately started wagging his tail and giving kisses. Upon further examination it was discovered he had a broken canine and was missing a toe. Buddy turned out to be heart worm positive and had some major previous injuries that had healed wrong, and an infected tooth that needed to come out. Buddy has since been completely vaccinated, neutered and had teeth removed, he is currently going through treatment for his heartworm. This sweet boy would make a perfect addition to your family, he is great with people of all sizes, but does not get along with cats or pigs! He is good with other dogs as long as there are slow introductions!! He is house broken and kennel trained. We are working on his leash walking! Don't forget we are waiving adoption fees this month for approved adopters! Fill out the application below
