Rosie’s first day.

Steps to build dog’s relationship with a specific person.

It is always best to find a puppy you can see and see the family setting of the parent dogs. It’s best to meet the puppy once before purchasing.

Meet puppy a week before. Meet them multiple times if allowed. If you have picked a name, have Litter Holder use that name.

After purchase.
On way home, Stop at safe place for rest stop.
Have Main Person stay with the puppy. All others leave. Just so puppy learns to Depend on the Main Person. Others can return after a few minutes.
Can do this multiple times.

Puppy should respond to Main Person’s movements and vocalizations.

Most people don’t have all these options when finding a puppy. Use the information to design your relationship with your dog. Note that the more people are around the puppy, the more choices your dog has to pick their favorite.

This works. 3 Stops and she loves her person.

Did work until Kat was injured and couldn’t do anything for nearly a year, and I became more fun. Rosie still loves Kat but I am fun.

Hillary hasn’t moved. Sitting off Cabo since yesterday.

Hundreds of miles north (blue dot) in LHC, Az, we are getting weather. Our hundred plus August temperatures have plummeted. 80 degrees at 6:30 AM is very different.

As Hillary moves North, and it is unknown what will happen next. Does California gets wet or does it plunge into the desert south and southeast of us and flood Arizona like never before?

Looks like we have an adventure. This week promises not to be boring.

2023 was a science fiction date.

2023 I was told would have no rain forest for 23 years.
We are supposed to have a chemically toxic atmosphere.
And it was supposed to be much cooler or much warmer.
And either way the oceans were going to rise.

A lot has happened. But the predictions of science and technology have been completely wrong. Scares continue but without reasonable evidence or the effects have not hit us sufficiently yet.

Mostly we accomplished the means to malnourish and poison ourselves with the government’s and medical establishment’s blessing.

Enjoy Eating Out.
Restaurants are the first to be using this stuff.

Laboratory grown meat.
Oat milk (and almond nut milks).
Plant based meat.

All chemically rich in nonfood ingredients for flavor and indigestible industrial waste (seed oils).

Hope they improved the “glue”.
The glue they used to make 1 piece of restaurant meat from 2 pieces was a carcinogen.

Went to Lowe’s Hardware Tuesday a little after 3PM, with Rosie.
Not the same as the TDB (That Dane Bar). No other dogs. Couldn’t let Rosie loose, not even in the garden department. No Mexican Coke.
It was air conditioned. Rosie was given treats by the people working at Lowe’s.
And we walked a half mile for exercise.
It’s just not the same.

Dog cleaning the easy way. She thinks vacuuming is love.
Just start any training early. And you too will have to vacuum your dog every time you vacuum your house, or break her heart.

Here’s Roxy.
Excellent guest. She’s well behaved but energetic. Our Rosie likes the chase games with Roxy.

Nice dogs make the world just a little better and that’s a fact.

Babysitting. A new adventure for us. A new adventure for our pets.

And the first and second tests?

Dude our friend’s boxer in need of watching for 3 days and was successful.
He was a gentleman pet.

Roxy’s doing great. Active but polite.
And likes our dry food. She behaves very well and believes that to be a marvelous treat even for rewards.

What is even better?
My dogs are behaving and accepting these very nice pets into our home. It’s really nice. As much as we enjoy our pets, between helping someone with accommodations and challenging my pets to even better behaviors, both these things are making this experience fun for me.

I will post pictures of these small adventures.
